The Sockibomb Slammer is derived from the original DD Slammer with a little flare of the Westside Discs Harp. This is a very overstable putt & approach mold, which provides excellent consistency. The dependability of this mold is great for all players of all skills levels. This works great for backhand or forehand throws, flying straight with a reliable ending fade every time.

A brand new disc to the lineup, I was skeptical at first but this disc has won me over. Feels great in the hand and travels nice and slow with reliable fade. Very turn resistant.

This disc reminds me of the Pig, but I like the mold of the slammer better. It really hits the chains hard. The grip feels good in the hands, and I feel very confident putting with it. It does have a lot more fade than I'm used to, so I mostly use this for when it's windy and I'm inside circle 2.

Great overstable approach disc. Fights wind like a boss and has minimal groundplay.

The plastic, however, is horrific. It is stiff, but it damages very easily.

Brilliant mold, but they need to bring it out in a better plastic type

This is the most overstable putt and approach disc out there as far as I have seen. Blows discs like zones and harps out of the water. Beats into a really nice throwing putter that will carry straight before fading hard. Extremely torque resistant for a putter. Might be my favorite disc in my bag.

This thing is sweet! I have thrown harps, zones, pigs, and a handfull of overstable mids for forehand upshots and none of them have been as accurate as one of these. They do get nicked and dented if you hit trees and rocks but that goes with any flat topped, base plastic disc. Good job on this one DD!

This disc does exactly what you want it to out of the box. The numbers are exactly as advertised. This disc just wants to get down to the ground. While it is an excellent approach disc, I also use it off the tee for those short par threes that require a standstill forehand. My only complaint is that the flight plate has taken some hits. Although it does not affect the flight, the flight plate being a bit dented does affect the overall feel.

This thing is not beginner friendly. It is more of a disc for those people who are looking for something more overstable than a pig for me, but I still bag both.

The numbers on the Sockibomb Slammer from Dynamic Discs are pretty much spot on. This is an excellent approach disc and I find myself reaching for it way more than I thought I would when I purchased it. This is my go to forehand approach disc and has the stability to handle a sloppy release. Although it is fairly deep it is still very comfortable for my hands. Although I primarily use the Slammer for scramble shots, I do find myself using of the tee when I need controlled distance with a hard finish. My only complaint on this disc is the durability. Although it is still nice and overstable, it has worn in pretty fast. There is also a small indent on the flight plate. If you are looking for an approach disc that has less distance and more stability than a pig or zone, the Slammer is a great compliment.

Very overstable, feels great in the hand, my only complaint is how soft the actual plastic is. I've thrown mine a grand total of two times and can already tell this is going to beat in really fast and not hold it's "out of the box" feel for very long.

I have a couple of the first run orbits. 175g.

I don't think these will become my go to approach disc, as I'm accustomed to throwing the Zone for that. However, it definitely fills some shots that I have traditionally used a Zone for, but this disc just executes better. Basically anything out to about 175' that I need some kind of "trick shot" for, or a super overstable dump at the end of flight. There's a local course I play a lot with a few uphill, narrow tunnel, woods holes that are between about 160-200' long. This thing will not accidentally glide long or stay straight too long like a zone occasionally will. First round there with these I nearly aced back to back holes that I've never gotten quite as close to acing with a zone.

So, I think it's a bit of a niche disc if you already have a go to overstable approach disc, but it's VERY reliable and predictable at what it does.

Beware of the hand feel if you're used to shallower molds, this one feels very deep in the hand.
