I love overstable putters. I love low profile discs. And above all, I love thumbtracks. The Slammer must have been made for me. It's a predictable overstable disc that I just throw on a hyzer and let it crash down to Earth on top of my target. It's not a versatile disc, but it covers that specific shot very well, and you can even get the mirror image of that shot by throwing it on a forehand because it's shorter than most other putters.

I will say that Prime Slammers tend to beat up and fade a little less. It certainly won't turn into a flippy disc, but if you want that crazy beefy fade to stay around then buy a premium plastic. Or if you don't mind if it beats in a little bit, a well worn Slammer can actually be a pretty sweet disc in its own right because you can just throw it hard directly at the target and trust that it will never in a million years glide, roll, or skip past the target.

Edit: After a lot of experience with this disc, I definitely recommend buying it in premium plastic. DD's base plastic is nice if you just need a cheap disc to get started, but I've had to take a couple Prime Slammers out of my bag and now I've ordered one in a tougher plastic.

Although this putter is pretty beefy, it is in my opinion one of the best throwing putters around. Stable predictable finish, fights headwinds, and feels great for forehands and backhands

Its very very similar to the pig so if you like pigs then its very good its a decently fast putter pretty overstable but overall a good disc .
