The Lucid-x plastic is phenomenal. It makes the disc just a hair more overstable so it can take the torque of a forehand.

This review is for 173g Lucid-X plastic (unsure if glimmer/chameleon version has different flight characteristics). I bought this disc based on great reviews.  I bought it in Lucid-X because of what people said about it, too.  I like the plastic feel a lot, but the disc has been shockingly bad.  It makes a new, max weight Ballista Pro in Opto plastic look flippy.  I would characterize this as a faster, more overstable FD3, or a domier Z Nuke OS.  I will likely buy another Sherrif in a different plastic because I think it's possible the disc I got was from a bad run...  It happens.  I trust reviews, and people love the Sherrif.  I typically drive 450'-530' with high speed drivers on a level field, but this thing is such an absurd meathook I can't get this out past 400' without a full power flex shot.  My initial thought was it could be a good headwind driver, but it's got a bit of a dome to it which won't slice through wind as well as a lower profile driver will.  It would be OK for a wide hyzer 350' open fairway shot, but I have midrange and fairway drivers for that.  Until I buy another Sherrif I think I'll attach my disc to a string and drag it behind my car for a day to see if that brings some turn out of it.
