Do you love the Escape but need more stability? Look no further than the Getaway. While it shares the feel and glide of an Escape, the Getaway boasts a more predictably overstable flight with moderate fade. When straighter flights with a subtle fade are a must, the Getaway is the one to trust.

This is DD's attempt at a Thunderbird type disc, and they did pretty well, creating an overstable hybrid driver that can get some good distance. However it has some dome to it that doesn't feel comfortable for me and it does not stand up to as much torque as the Thunderbird. It is still a great disc that filled that hole in Dynamic's lineup and could find its way into anyone's bag!

What an amazing disc! The numbers are exactly correct. This disc flies straight and has a nice little fade off at the end, making it very dependable.

The getaway has never left my bag since the day I bought it. The rim feels good in my hands and it has a very reliable flight. I feel the glide is higher than its labeled since there's been times I've overthrown my target with it without much effort. The fade is big if you don't get enough power but when powered up it'll stand up and turn slightly before finishing with a reliable fade

DD did things right when they created the Getaway. It flies true to the numbers assigned to it and is a very capable fairway/distance driver. Very comparable to Innova's Thunderbird, the Getaway will hold a straight line for a long while before fading gracefully. Even at high speed you'll notice little, if any, high speed turn.

I found the Getaway great for drives in the 350'-375' range. It will take all the arm you have to offer and respond favorably with extra distance without turning or flipping. The Getaway seems to do well in headwinds and is, overall, a very reliable driver.

I can't really recommend this one for beginners. The Getaway takes a hefty throw to fly flat for any distance. This thing is noticeably more overstable than the Convict, and way more reliable on full powered throws.

I've been looking fora Trilogy equivalent to the PD and this is it.  A fantastically stable disc that perfectly compliments the Explorer.  I thought I had originally found the Trilogy PD in the Latitude 64 culverin, but it turned out to be less stable (more like a thunderbird).

Do yourself a favor and give this disc a shot.  I would say plastic stability looks like this (more stable to less stable) Lucid, Bio, Fuzion

The Getaway has sneaky distance. With a ton of glide and good stability this disc just stays in the air for a long time. Being a fairway driver it has a smaller rim but still comfortable. I would recommend this disc for all skill levels. For beginners it will be a reliable overstable driver and for advanced players with bigger arms it can be a go to to carve out lines on any shot.

Great disc with surprising amount of glide and distance that anyone can enjoy.
