The EMac Truth is an overstable midrange disc designed to offer a more stable flight than the regular Truth midrange driver. This version of the disc is Eric McCabe's signature disc, and was designed to his specifications. This disc will hold any line you give it, and is often used as a very effective upshot driver. It offers both a predictable fade and a long flight with its high glide. This disc holds true every time you throw it.

My go to disc for anything less than 250ft, it's like a zone that will go farther, isn't as overstable,  and has a thinner rim.  I absolutely love the thin rim for my sidearm shots, this is the best feeling disc for sidearm players.

I like this disc almost as much as my buzzz. I use it for the more strait shots when my buzzz is a little too bit overstable. It is a very reliable disc that I like a lot.

What a great disc. I tested out the lion, M2, MX-3 and this disc. The Emac truth wrecked them. This disc is so straight with the fade at the end. The Prime plastic is nice and flat on the top which I really like for my forehand. This disc went right in my bag after the review. I want to try out different plastics now that I found a mold that I like.

    I have multiple Emac truths:

    - Very used in Prime plastic (some turn, probably more like 5/5/-1/1.5 now after a lot of throws (500? 1000? more?)

    - Slightly used in Prime plastic

    - Used in Fuzion plastic

For throwing around 175-250 feet a new Emac Truth will go pretty much perfectly straight and fade at the end (forehand or backhand), which is what I usually use this disc for. My used one might be my most used non-putter disc and now has a bit of turn to it. I like it for forehand hyzer flips or flat backhands on tight tunnel shots, but unless you have more power than me a new EMac Truth won't flip up.

This was my main disc for forehands when starting out and I may go back to using it a lot more on them again now since I throw them about as far as drivers forehand (200-250 vs 240-280?). My max distance is probably 300-325ft for backhand with drivers and I throw these close to 250 on open shots.

I like this disc in base plastic. It's flatter than the premium plastics I've tried. New it flies straight with a little fade at the end. It beats up fairly quickly though and it becomes even straighter until it starts to turn eventually when you put enough power on it. I use it for Hyzer flips at the point that go pretty straight. This disc flies farther for me than other mid ranges. The grip is way more comfortable for me than a buzz. It's also much better to forehand than a buzz. Buzzes scrape my fingers on forehands where this doesn't have that problem. It's the best mid range I've tried so far.

Love this disc. I have it in fuzion and prime, although I mainly use my prime plastic one. This disc goes dead straight for me with a very reliable fade at the end of the flight. My prime is a very flat top disc, but it is so comfortable to throw. I can backhand or forehand this disc and know what it is going to do every time. It is very dependable. It is mainly an approach disc for me, but I really wouldn't pick anything else to approach with in many situations.

I keep three in my bag, one prime burst that I have beaten up to stand up and ride, one newer prime burst that flips up but still has stability, and a new lucid disc that will stay on hyzer. Truly a workable disc with various plastic options for dialing in your preference for how it feels. I love the shallow depth and flat top, definitely a bigger disc if you're into that. I don't know a disc that I'd recommend more than an Emac truth.

I picked up this disc in a cheap plastic when I was fairly new to the game. I took it for granted for awhile and kept trying to replace it with other prettier and more high end mid range discs. Every single time though, when I need a reliable line in the woods, out came the truth. It is truly the most reliable mid I have thrown. It goes dead straight with a very hard fade, but not till the very last second. I'll probably pick up another couple of these in a Lucid plastic.

The Quintessential beginner midrange. I've learned so much about disc golf just by having this disc in my bag. The disc that taught me about stability, shot shapes, everything really. I have my alerts set up for the Fuzion Burst so I can get the more durable plastic, but this is a must own disc.

This was going to be my main mid-range disc. When I got it, I immediately loved how it felt in my hands, especially for forehands because it has a completely flat top which I love for forehands. However, the very first time I played a course with it, an SUV ran over it while it was laying on a gravel road within the park. Not sure if they didn't see it or did it intentionally. Either way, because it was in Prime plastic, it severely dinged up the bottom rim and it now unfortunately no longer flies the way it was intended. It used to fly straight for me and then have a nice slow fade at the end. Now, it turns right on me if I give it any amount of speed on my throws. It flies a little bit more like a Buzzz SS now than an Emac Truth. Which is unfortunate.

I immediately bought another one, but in Lucid plastic and it's been a great disc for me so far. However, I don't love it nearly as much for forehands as it has a much more domey top than the Prime plastic had. I like my discs as flat as possible on top.

I think this a great disc no matter what skill level or throw. I do not have the biggest hands in the world but most mid range discs have awkward feeling rims. I absolutely love the rim of the EMAC Truth! It is comfortable in a forehand or backhand grip.

The flight is also extremely reliable. I have started using this disc for any shot between 100 and 250 feet.

I picked up the Prime (Burst) Emac Truth to try because it was cheap and looked sweet. To my surprise it flew very nicely! It had great glide and a dependable fade.

The Emac Truth is a staple in Trilogy thrower's hands, and the Prime Burst version is an awesome and affordable way to introduce you to the disc. I would compare this Prime Burst Emac to my brand new McPro Roc3's with a little bit of added glide. The Prime Burst Emac seemed to have less glide than the Fuzion version I tested out last year, which turns into less distance for me. I was able to absolutely crush the Fuzion considering it is just a midrange disc, but I didn't find I could get as much distance out of the Prime version.

The plastic feels nice in the hand and offers plenty of grip. The Prime Burst plastic would be great in wet conditions. When thrown in the wind, the wide diameter of the disc makes it a little less dependable, but it is overstable enough to handle breezy conditions. I just wouldn't pull it out during ridiculously windy days.

Overall, the Prime Burst Emac Truth is a great way to try out one of the most popular molds. I would pick one up if you're looking for a great disc to use during cold/wet conditions, or if you just want a sweet looking disc for cheap that is going to fly dependably.
