The EMac Truth is an overstable midrange disc designed to offer a more stable flight than the regular Truth midrange driver. This version of the disc is Eric McCabe's signature disc, and was designed to his specifications. This disc will hold any line you give it, and is often used as a very effective upshot driver. It offers both a predictable fade and a long flight with its high glide. This disc holds true every time you throw it.

I knew after my first throw with this disc, it was making my bag.  Not only did it make my bag, but it actually bumped my Roc3 AND my Buzzz out!  This disc is controllable on almost any angle, but the best part about it is the glide.  It feels just as comfortable as any other top mid-range, but added an easy 50-60 feet of distance for me versus my Rocs and Buzzz's.  EMac and Dynamic knocked it out of the park with this one!

    170g Lucid MyDye / 175g Lucid MyDye

?Ahhh the eMac Truth. My first one was a 170g Lucid MyDye (I wasn't confident enough yet to be buying anything heavier than that at the time). I quickly realized that the "lighter" weight made it a little squirrely, especially in the wind. This made me sade, because on the other hand... THIS. THING. GLIDES. FOREVER.

I could throw this disc about as far as I was throwing my fairways (call it a nose angle issue; go ahead, i dare you!). I could pump this out about 340ft max. And it's weird to watch because it's not a fast 340, it's a loooong glidey 340.

If I backed off the power a bit I could control the squirrely nature of it, but that's not what I wanted. That's when I bought the 175g Lucid MyDye. Voila! it was much more dependable to straight pretty damn straight for a REALLY long time, then fade dependably every time. The 170g does get a bit more distance, but not much. And it was gladly traded for the dependability of this disc.

Some may find it a bit difficult to control the distance on this, but if you can just back off the power a little bit, you're able to better control your lines with the slower arms speed, but still get good distance with reliable fade.

For headwinds: In the heavier weights, it pretty much goes just straight, maybe a touch of that turn. The fade mostly disappears. In lighter weights is when this becomes exponentially worse. I just don't recommend this disc in lighter weights at all.

For tailwinds: No matter the weight, this disc seems to not care much about tailwinds. You won't see ANY turn at all, but the glide and fade remain pretty in tact. Maybe 0.5 more fade if any. Very reliable.

I think everyone should own a midrange with no turn and an easy, dependable fade at the end. It will change your approach game for sure. And when you fill that slot, try the eMac Truth. I'm looking forward to these discs seasoning into the more understable slots in my bag (a la Eric McCabe's bag), because this disc feels like it was born to sit in your hand, but lives to leave it!

I bought an original Truth back in 2013 that was my bread and butter for 3.5 years. It got too beat and started to flip so I replaced it with another Lucid Truth. To my dismay the new Lucid Truth was very flippy. When I heard that the new EMac was gonna be similar to the old original Truths I had to get one. This Emac Truth is very similar to the old original in every way. It feels and flies the same. I can throw it on straight shots, turnovers, and with controlled fade. Even into a head wind I drop the wing a little to the ground and it will hyzer flip up, fly straight, and then fade. This disc also has a ton of glide. You wouldn't think so based on the average depth but it goes sneaky far. It's the best Mid, and arguable my favorite disc ever.

This is more of an updated review after having the disc for a while. The EMac Truth is the real deal when it comes to getting a great flight out of a disc. I was not a fan of the first release of the truth, but when the EMac Truth came out I knew DD fixed it the first time I threw it. It's a very straight disc, and when putting more power into it there is just a hair of turn like EMac throws it in the video, but it always finishes straight ahead of you. The feel of this disc is exactly what you look for when it comes to grip, and I would recommend this disc to anyone. I don't have to put much power on this, and it just GOES. I see why people grab this disc for any distance from 200-350ft. It's really consistent, and flies well without feeling like you have to crank it. That's one thing I can't say about my Ti Buzzz, but I still bag the Buzzz due to it being just a little more reliable in a headwind. There are spots for both of these since they are just a tiny bit different in flight.
