The EMac Truth is an overstable midrange disc designed to offer a more stable flight than the regular Truth midrange driver. This version of the disc is Eric McCabe's signature disc, and was designed to his specifications. This disc will hold any line you give it, and is often used as a very effective upshot driver. It offers both a predictable fade and a long flight with its high glide. This disc holds true every time you throw it.

This is a great disc to learn disc golf with. Many people will enjoy the straight flight and possible distance with this disc. The glide makes it a great disc for holes up to 350-375 ft. A great midrange for those looking for a similar disc to the Discraft Buzzz.

Super reliable. This kicked the Buzzz out of my bag. They have VERY similar flights (at least mine did) but the Emac truth just feels way better in hand for me because it's a bit shallower in hand.

I got a Fuzion EMAC Truth after seeing all the very positive reviews. My first thought when it arrives is that it feels very different in my forehand grip. The outer rim is not curved like most discs, bit is instead geometric with a couple straight edges that feels different and a little sharp in my grip. Other than the odd geometric outer edge it has a flat top and reminds me overall of a mako3.

The flight of the disc is very pleasant. On a forehand it can handle the torque and fly straight without turning, then it has a gentle fade about 75% through the flight. I found it to turn a bit sooner than some other similarly rated discs. The fade was slow and gentle compare to late and sharp. This is an excellent disc for the shorter par 3's at my local course.

I recommend this for other people looking for a mid that holds up to the torque of a forehand shot.

I'm not going to say anything ground breaking about this disc that nobody else has said already ten times over. So my short review is the Emac Truth is a disc for everyone. A reliable overstable midrange that can be anything you ask of it and might never leave your bag lineup once it goes in.

The EMac truth is very fast for a midrange, I would even say it's almost a fairway driver.   Even when I don't put much onto it, it just shoots out of my hand at high speed.  I bought this disc to fill a niche in my midrange game.  I wanted a disc that was straight and had a dependable, slight fade to left (RHBH) on every shot, and this disc dose that perfectly.

I was excited to get my hands on a couple fuzion emac truths because I had heard from quite a few people that they absolutely loved the disc.

I gotta say, about two months in, I am underwhelmed. They seemed like they would fill a great spot in my bag for long midrange shots that needed a little more fade at the end, but they are incredibly touchy and inconsistent for me. If I give them the power I need, they turn too hard and go straight too long. Even on a little touch hyzer shot at 230' I've had them turn and never come back.

In a field, they rival some of my fairways for distance, but that's not what I need from my midrange discs.

The EMac Truth is one of the best midranges in the sport right now. The EMac Truth is the disc I have to every friend I'm trying to get into the sport. 168-170 Fusion EMac Truth. The disc will help compensate for minor inconstancies in form, but will still help a player learn proper throwing form.

In the higher weights (175+) and in Lucid or Moonshine you can even put some force behind a forehand shot and not have it turn over.

The EMac Truth coupled with the Truth (or Tursas) and the Verdict (or a max weight moonshine Emac Truth) give a player a full range from understable to overstable midrange with the same feel in the hand. You can throw almost the exact same shot, and release angle, and get different amounts of turn and fade.

Like any disc this popular there is a dozen diffrent plasic types, and wear in, and stability will vary. I recommend looking at Lucid or Fuzion for your first Emac Truth.

This is a great disc and can fill any slot in your bag, however it beats in way too fast and therefore is inconsistent from round to round. If you can follow the beat in curve then there's not a better mid out there.

A Disc For Your Bag EMAC Truth By Oscar Ball

I promise that I am not lying the best midrange disc on the market is the EMAC Truth by Dynamic Discs. The disc is almost guaranteed to have a spot in your bag. At 5 speed 5 glide 0 turn and 2 fade. It can reliable thrown on any line and still find its way back to flat. The preferred approach is a hyzer release and with good power it can flip up to flat turning ever so slightly only to finish with a smooth fade. When this disc fades it is something special it doesn't die and take a dead left it continues forward as it slowly makes its way to the ground. This is courtesy of that high glide rating. Go to your next tournament and ask someone who throws trilogy 9/10 they have an EMAC Truth in their bag. It's that good, and the man behind it all is Eric McCabe. He created this as his signature disc to follow up the original Truth. He made the disc more stable and with more glide these touches brought forth a better and more versatile Truth. One which is said to be the midrange to end all midranges. It has off the charts ratings  and jaw dropping ratings. Including Chris Tellasbo, who said "The mid to rule all mids. This disc will hold any line you put it on while gliding like any Truth does. It is definitely my go-to mid, and has replaced the Verdict as my favorite disc, which I never thought would happen." A man by the name CrowKSU said “My mid set-up is dominated by the EMac Truth. I have a beat-in Lucid that will turn just a touch before it fades back, a BioFuzion that is slightly beat and flies very neutral, I also carry a flat-top Prime Burst that is still pretty fresh and very stable. You can't ask for much more in a mid than what this disc does. It holds a line, it glides very well for a slower-flying disc and it has enough stability to be reliable in most situations.”

Great disc that I just never clicked with. On a power throw, it showed more turn than I was looking for, and on a powered down throw, it faded more than I wanted. I found the Compass to be a very happy middle. That said, the EMac Truth definitely has its purposes. I definitely think it would be the perfect beginner wind fighting disc or driver (for a brand new player that isn't starting with drivers). With all the different weights and plastics available, I definitely see it covering a variety of shots, but it just wasn't for me.

I like this disc but I'm not crazy about it. It's a great driving midrange, but it isn't all that different from the truth or the verdict, both of which I like better. I got hooked on both of these discs and didn't really see the need for an EMAC. It flies slightly less stable than my fuzion verdict, and just like my lucid truth but without the slight turn. It flies stable through the whole flight and finishes reliably to the left, and it has a lot of glide making it great for throwing off the tee. The rim looks a lot like a buzzz to me but a little taller. Has a very comfortable feel in the hand.

Feel: This disc feels very unique, i have an emac that is flat, and i have one that is domey. the rim has a flat edge as opposed to a curved one, which is unique for midranges, this diagonally straight edge makes a bead at the bottom.

Flight: This disc flies very straight after a little wear, but out of the box is it actually pretty stable. This disc is notoriously one of the most workable, and reliable discs on the market. This disc holds up to that expectation very well. My newer emac is still very dependable and overstable, this is one of those discs that you throw, and throw again, and dont stop throwing for a while.

Comparison: This Disc is feelwise very close to a Buzzz, and the flight is like a fresh buzz with a little more stability. The flight is more closely resemblant of a stable roc, or even a roc3

Plastic: Fuzion plastic feels almost identical to innova's star plastic, it is a highly durable, semi grippy plastic, that doesn't seem to make a disc more or less stable.

Once you beat this disc in, it will behave like a brand-new Truth.  That being said, it has a little more fade than the Truth and is "slightly but more overstable" than the regular Truth.  I lost this disc and haven't replaced it since it went for a swim.  I will update this the second I buy another and bag it.  updated (6/5/19)

This is everything you want in a mid-range. power throws will turn it over some, slow shots will glide and fade. I hyzerflip this on every tight gap I can. easily hits 300ft. I cant tell how AMAZING this disc is... but by 3! I throw moonshine and fuzion. I would say the moonshine is a touch more overstable but not much honestly.

Definitely my go to mid. I bag 3 of these, 1 moonshine, 1 fusion, and 1 lucid. Decently OS out of the box and will go forever, I have got my moonshine out to 415 before, only problem is that they beat in super quick.

In my opinion this is the best mid range hands down. The roc3's are in the closet now. See ya...It's an overstable mid range but not very overstable. I think some people expect that but it's not. It can fly as far as a fairway driver if you want it to. I bag 2 emac truths one lucid in newer condition for harder fades and a seasoned fusion that is the most prized disc in my bag. Buy one now and in a few months buy another. They are the best.

Very straight mid.  Great distance.  The only mid that I have tried that can go as far is the Warship, but I prefer the Emac Truth rim.  It's really holding up to tree hits, pavement scrapes, etc.  Same stability as new.

178 g Pink Fuzion and 168 g Red Fuzion.  The Red Fuzion gets good turn and can hold an anhyzer.  The Pink Fuzion is very straight unless there is a lot of headwind.  The fade is decent.

Man does this thing glide. I placed it in the advanced category only due to the fact that there are so many things that can be done with this disc. Yes, beginners can throw it but only if you want it to be a low speed hyzer dump. If you don't get it up to speed, that's what this disc will do. Once you learn how to control your angles and your speed, this disc can do anything you want it to do. The only thing I've found that's different from the first run truths,  is that when the older truths will continue turning to the right (RHBH), the Emac Truth will fight out. I can throw this disc as hard as I want and as long as I put it on the correct angle, it will fly dead straight with a little turn and fade out at the end.

I also use this disc for trouble shots out of the woods and tight gaps on a forehand throw and with the right angle, it will travel on that angle and fight out. Great disc for a variety of shots and when in the right hands, can be lethal. Thanks Eric McCabe for developing this design and will be cycling them in and out of my bag for sure!

This disc is great for those slow turning shots with minimal fade. I can throw this disc flat and watch it gently turn with almost no fade. Great disc for someone who has played a couple rounds and wants a nice straight mid range. This is a great disc for beginners and the most experienced pros.

What can I say that hasn't been said? I started out throwing Rocs but the deeper, sharper rim cause a lot of grip lock and pull issues with me. Within the first few throws, I was more accurate with the Emac mid. I mean, they really felt good. Everyone is different but these just feel much better leaving the hand than anything I've tried. I also FH a lot and these are more stable than most mids. Highly recommend  that players at least try them even if they are happy with their mids. I have a 178 Lucid and a 174 Fuzion to compliment it. I flick the Lucid more than the Fuzion but both are pretty darn stable.

The EMac Truth hype train is there for a reason. I was originally hesitant about this disc because I did not like the last Truth I had purchased. The EMac has changed all of that for me and I love this disc. It will fly on the line you put it on, but my favorite is to throw it flat and just watch how far it sails. This disc seems to just keep going before it finally settles down nicely in the fairway. It is one of my go to midranges, and is pulled out instead of some fairway drivers because of how nice it flies

I used to throw the buzzz. Now I throw the fuzion EMAC Truth. I'd describe it as stable but it can handle a decent amount of power before it starts to turn. It is a versatile disc and the distance I've achieved with it is impressive (at least to me). I've thrown it on hyzer and anhyzer lines. I've also used it for sidearm upshots. Overall, it's really consistent and predictable. I also really like the fuzion plastic. It is grippy and a little pliable but holds its form very well so you can get a firm grip on the disc without distorting the shape of it.  If you are looking for a solid midrange, I highly recommend trying out the EMAC Truth.

I really liked the Fuion Emac Truth! If I were a Dynamic player it would replace my Mako3, they are very comparable in flight and stability. When thrown smooth, this disc can actually handle a lot of power and will still fly "true." I do like it more than the regular Truth, so I think the Emac version is definitely better. What sets the Emac Truth apart from other discs is the speed. It is noticeably faster than other midrange discs, and many find that the Emac will fly as far as fairway drivers. If you can't throw the Emac, keep trying it because it can teach a smooth throw. Some may feel that it is a bit too understable for them, but I think it's a great straight thrower with superior glide. If you need that nice anhyzer shot that flattens out at the end with minimal fade, the Emac Truth is great for that.

The EMac Truth edition of the popular TRUTH midrange is generally more understable than I expected. I throw right-handed, backhand, and it pulled right almost every time I threw it. It didn't flip over, which is nice, but it did pull that direction, when I'd expected it to hold more of a straight line based on the flight numbers. It could be that it was slipping from my fingers a little less predictably than I'd like. I don't know if the rim is slightly different than I'm used to (possibly more shallow than my usual midrange discs of choice) but it never felt like a very good release for me. I can see it being a useful disc as a beginning midrange.
