The Breakout is a slightly understable fairway driver.  It is recommended for people who like the Escape, but want something a little more understable.  It will hold its anhyzer angle, but without turning over all the way to the ground.  It will fly straight when you need it to - a reliable disc for a little extra distance without sacrificing accuracy.  It feels like a fairway driver, but releases like a midrange.

I used the Breakout a lot the first year and a half of playing, and it served very well most of the time. If you are a beginner, just buy this disc, it will act as a great teacher as you learn to throw drivers.

One of the easiest fairway drivers to hold in the hand with a nice thin profile, although the lucid plastic seems a bit thicker & taller for some reason. With a consistent release, the primary inconsistency is that it flies furtherest with a substantial S-curve, or a hyzer flip up. The S-curve is what I did more as a beginner which gave it inconsistent landing zones due to my inconsistent height of throw. If I bought another one, I would go for hyzer flip ups and truly beleive it could be one of my further discs.

Can't say much for the Prime plastic, it beat in quick and became a completely unreliable disc after a year of beginner use.

LOVE THIS DISC! I'm fairly new and only throw about 300 feet LHBH but this disc has been a huge improvement in my game. From the first time I picked it up in stores I knew I needed to try it. First outing I was so in love I instantly bought another one. Feels amazing in the hands and throws so reliable and predictable. It feels like it glides forever also. Whether I throw forehand or backhand it holds its lines well and seems to sail further than any disc in my bag consistently. It's a must try for newer players

I was super excited to get this disc in prime plastic several months ago. Unfortunately, this disc just wasn't for me. I was not able to get good throws with it, and I did not like the way it felt in my hand. It is most likely due to my own skills, but I ended up giving this one away. Perhaps I gave up on it too quickly.

I just received my Breakout and have only played 2 rounds with it in my bag and it will not be coming out anytime soon!!  I would say its meant more for a player with a little bit experience
