The Kraken is an all-purpose fairway driver that flies with precision to the target. It doesn't have too much fade, nor is it too "flippy" for most players. When thrown with control and a smooth release, the Kraken can fly straight and predictably even for new disc golfers.

Much slower speed and way more flippy than numbers suggest. Grippy plastic, beginner friendly.

The Divergent discs Kraken was the first fairway driver that I purchased as a beginner. I was looking for a disc that could match my slow arm speed, and this disc turned out to be perfect for that. Out of the box this thing is slower and less stable than the numbers suggest. It is also very domey and glides for days, and for a while was my furthest flying disc. Although I find myself using this disc less as my arm speed has improved it still holds a spot in my bag. Great for hyzer-flips that ride straight and big panning anhyzers that wont crash to the ground or fade too hard. I have hit quite a few trees and the durability of the disc is surprisingly good for the price. The closest comparison for the plastic I have found is I-blend from infinite. If you're a beginner who is struggling with higher speed discs, I could not recommend the Kraken enough.

The kraken is a great disc. Think of it as a grippier leapord3 with a tiny amount of fade at the end. It's perfect for shaping those drives in the woods and is one of my go to drivers.

Have not thrown this disc much through 2 rounds at different courses but when I did, it seemed to be pretty accurate as far as the numbers are concerned. If you have a hidden basket around 300 ft, it turns decently to the left before a slight return (RHFH). I like the 6 speed rating as it is easily thrown, with a strong flick, with no more than a single step or even stand still and executes properly.

I love the feel of the plastic as it has a slight gummy feel but a nice strong sturdy shinny feel to it. It seems as if it should have some durability to it so far but have not thrown it enough to hit enough objects yet.

Great dish for hyzer flips in the woods. I would day its a smaller diameter and flippy r leopard. super easy to throw and glides for days!
