The Zombee is a fairway driver that was introduced by Discraft for the 2012 Ace Race. This is a tall, super-straight flyer with a predictable end of flight fade. This disc is like a cross between the midrange Buzzz and the Stalker driver. Discraft gives the Zombee a stability rating of 1.0.

The Zombee embodies what a -1 turn / +1 fade is and should be when rated correctly. My buddy gave this disc to me and his reasoning for giving it up describes the disc. When throwing for distance it turns over and holds right, when trying to correct and get it to go straight with a slight flip up, it hyzers out early. The Zombee and other -1 turn / +1 fade discs are very straight and reliable, if you are able to throw flat and hard without cranking it too much.

Luckily, my style of throwing is trying to throw most discs the same way and just choosing the right disc for the scenario. This lends itself well to throwing discs that are meant to be straight, with a little S-curve. If you aren't a power house, then you will likely agree that you love this types of discs.

The glo plastic is really nice in a midrange, not being too slippery or too grippy. Discrafts glo is not the brightest, but it is a really good plastic just for regular day disc golfing. Stands up well in the forest.

I find this to have more turn than the -1 HSS advertised here or Discraft's own 1.0 rating. Didn't do what I expected, but it has found a nice spot in my bag, especially for courses with some elevation. The Zombee is my uphill or downwind Buzzz. Thrown on level ground I have to hyzer it a pinch like I do a beat Buzzz or Buzzz SS to keep it straight. Not a hard turn, by any means. Just a drift that I didn't expect.

If you're familiar with the Squall by DGA, then you're familiar with the Zombee.
