This is the first disc that I can only throw backhand. (RHBH). I have only had this disc fade to the right a couple of times throwing RHFH successfully. But now that I have come to terms with it, the Sting has been directed towards my score and not self inflicted. (As in my score has improved. Just so we are clear). I have a hard time with RHBH and not trying to put all of my power into the throw. This disc absorbs and makes up for my lack of power control and rewards me with a beautiful flight and nice accurate fade.

I bought this disc hoping it might replace my opto river but was disappointed when it didn't. But what I did find was a very flippy control driver that many slower arm speed players or beginners could utilize. I found that I could shape some really awesome shots in the woods with this disc. Sadly this disc was not consistent enough for my arm speed though, I found it to flip up and burn right if I put too much power or had the angles slightly off. I think this is a great beginner driver for many players but higher level players might find it difficult to use.

The Sting is what I always wanted a leopard to be, a truly understable and controllable disc in premium plastic.  In BigZ and Z it's quite understable, more of a utility disc for straight distance shots in a strong tailwind and for when I want to throw a turnover into a tailwind.  Also for really hard turning shots when I don't want to throw a forehand.

But in Titanium plastic, about 4g heavier than I usually throw fairway drivers, it's less understable. super controllable for hyzerflips in the woods or turnovers that I want to come back a little.  The glide is insane too.
