Not as stable as I hoped it would be. More of the long s curve. I like the passion more for that laser torque resistant shot.

Nice slow straight to stable fairway driver with a unique feel, due to the small bead on the bottom of the rim. The bead seems to moderate the glide and keep the disc flying very straight without floating up and down too much. The claim that it is a bigger brother to the buzzz is close, but the buzzz has a better hand feel imo. Since this disc has a narrow rim, it does not fly as far as other fairway drivers either, for better or worse...

This is a fantastic disc. I have had three of these, and they have never disappointed me. The numbers are very accurate and feels good in my hand. I have given this disc to friends that are playing it for the first time, and they always love it. It can be used for forehand and backhand easily. Very recommended for everyone. I would get a lighter weight if you are starting.

    Disc - 175 Z Stalker

Feel - The stalker has a very small rim for a seven speed driver. It honestly feels like a six speed in my opinion but with a driver style rim. It feels good in the hand especially for those with smaller hands as the rim seems like it would fit nicely in most peoples hands.

Flight - The stalker has a great flight. The one I have is pretty new but this disc goes extremely straight. It will flip up a little bit and have a little fade when new. This disc is a interesting because it is like a very slow fairway or a fast mid but I think it can definitely carve out a spot in people's bags. I really do not think there is another disc on the market that has the same feel, flight, and speed so I think if you struggle with fairway drivers and want to try something a little different, the stalker could be a great disc for you.

Great straight flyer with a small but reliable finish. Great disc! Get one in hand before buying though. The underside of this disc can feel a bit weird for some people because it's almost like a beaded fairway. If it feels good in your hands though it's a great disc for a reliable straight to fade shot.

My current fairway driver! The speed 7 right off the bat makes this a very beginner friendly disc.

Throwing this around 300 right now and it has a very straight flight path with little to no finish.

I would compare this to a "faster" BUZZZ, which is one of the most popular discs on the market. If you are looking to add some more range (that the BUZZZ can't reach) I highly recommend giving the STALKER a try.

I have thrown this disc many times and it never disappoints. I would recommend it for any beginners looking to get a driver. My only complaint is that they market it as a driver and I use it as more of a control driver but oh well????‍??

Haven't tossed it yet, but Z plastic feels great (grippy and durable) but I wanted to chime in about the BEAD:

InfiniteDiscs lists the Stalker as beadless — it's not! There's a moderate bead that surprised me on unboxing. Worried it might affect the feel for FH, but I'll report back later.

This is one of my go-to's for any hole between 250-300 ft. As others have stated its a lot like a longer Buzzz. It is also similar to my Z Mantis but not quite as much turn/flex and a little more stable than my Pro Leopard. It was pretty overstable when it was brand new and my arm speed was still not up to par yet but as i broke it in and my form got better i now see what everyone is raving about.

Very dependable and predictable, even on my hardest throws it won't turn over on me like a lesser plastic Buzzz would. The rim feels great you can really grip it hard. It gets a lot of use on most courses i play and I'll probably always bag one. I feel like the glide is more of a 4 though. I have a Z line in the 170ish or higher weight.

This disc is perfect for a slight hyzer finish if you've got the arm speed for it. I picked this disc up and was hesitant at first but once I let this thing go on a flat angle I fell in love. I throw a Z line Stalker and it is so smooth out of the hand. If you want to put it on a spike hyzer angle it'll hold it till the end. If you want a disc with a reliable hyzer finish I highly recommend it.

The Z Stalker is a phenominal fairway driver. Very comfortable in the hand for smooth release. There is a bead on the wing but it sits closer to the flight plate versus most fairways such as the eagle or Teebird where the bead sits at the tip of the wing. I like the feel of the bead, but I am sure it might be awkward for some.

The flight is very straight with low speed fade. When thrown full power it has some turn (-1) and some fade (2) just like the numbers indicate. The disc is easy to shape on hyzer and anhyzer lines. Also has decent glide similar to the FD.

I had an earlier run of this disc and wasn't disappointed but not impressed either. The run I had felt very domey and bulky when compared to similar flight number discs like the Teebird. It felt slow out of the hand, but it did seem to fly fairly straight with a little fade at the end. I know there is some variation in different runs of plastic and it has been years since I have thrown a Stalker. That being said I would like to get another and give it one more shot.

I bought a Z line plastic Stalker max weight. The first few throws I was surprised how far this thing flew with a very stable flight and finish. I could power up on flat and it would not flip over, it would hold straight and start to fade out at the end of the flight. I think the speed seems to be a bit fast than a 7 but not by much. I am really excited to see how this disc will fly when I get it beat in a little more but so far I am really liking the consistent flight out of it. I can trust it so far to fly straight and still have this late fade. The 5 fade is very noticeable to me and I really enjoy having high fade control drivers.

I used to have an old Z-Line Stalker with a Canadian Flag dyed on it. Divorced my Canadian Ex-Wife so I got rid of it... haha! But I can remember shaping some outstanding shots with that thing. I remember being able to throw it with a nice amount of hyzer and it would flip up flat, turn over a bit, and then finish with a small amount of fade, leaving me with a very straight line. I also remember it being very controllable with anny lines and could even be a roller. Great disc for a some one who has played quite a bit but not quite up in the higher divisions. Would also be good for a beginner.

I really don’t get any separation on my backhand between the Stalker and my Ti Buzzz. It’s a decent forehand disc, as it has very little fade when flicked hard. I prefer the added control of the Buzzz over any slight distance bonus from the Stalker.

Just simply an outstanding disc that flies super straight just like a Buzzz but with just a touch more turn and fade and 20-50 more feet on it. It features a small bead that I didn't notice for over a year of throwing it.

The Stalker released flat and at full power flies straight with moderate turn and moderate fade. If you are familiar with the Teebird, the Stalker has a bit more turn and a tad less fade. It has more anny-ability than the Teebird meaning it does not fight out of it as hard as the Teebird will. It seems a tad more malleable than the Teebird in that respect. It feels more stable than an Escape and will not turnover as easily. Does not have the glide of an Escape, so will tend to drop before the Escape does.

The most interesting thing about this disc is that it appears to have a built in mechanism in its structure that keeps it from turning way over or fading strongly  keeping it very manageable in straighter fairways. In my opinion, it is one of the more well rounded fairway drivers for both woods and open field shots. When I want to stay on a narrow fairway or hit a straight shot longer than the Buzzz, I have yet to find anything that replaces it.  It has even worked for me in headwinds when I keep it low.

I really enjoyed throwing the Stalker. Mine seemed to have a little more stability then the flight numbers suggested. I'd put it at an 8, 4, 0, 2. It really flew a lot like a Teebird for me. It was long, straight, handled wind well, and had a decent, predictable fade at the end. I feel like slower arms would have a more overstable disc, but it would still be useful. This is a great disc if you are still looking for a solid, workhorse fairway driver.

This disc really is like a longer buzzz. If you try to force it this disc will bite you, if you just relax and let the disc do the work you will be pleasantly surprised with what this disc can accomplish. Takes a nice easy throw, just like a buzzz, you can just put a little more behind the stalker. Great for tight woods, or even practice to teach you what youre doing wrong with your throws

I initially received a stalker in a Discraft z mystery box and it simply sat in a stack of discs that I don't use.  That was until I came to find out it was what many would call a "longer buzzz"

To me that fits the bill pretty well but, if someone is thinking they can pick up a stalked and throw it further than a buzzz will be slightly mistaken.  The stalker will require more arm speed and is not as forgiving as the buzzz can be, and it also comes with a touch more stability which you'll come to love when you start to throw the stalker.

All in all, great disc for someone who is looking to add in a control/fairway driver to their game, especially if you came from a buzzz.  If you want a stalker but slightly less stable, grab the Z Glo rather than the Elite Z version (I own and regularly throw both).

The Stalker is one of the better fairway drivers on the market. Easily controllable distance to about 350'. Straight, slow flier.

My only area of frustration with the Stalker is that it can only be pushed so far, no matter how hard you throw. Sometimes I'd find myself stubbornly short on shots where it felt like I just killed this thing. Overall its accurate and easy to control though.

I've since replaced this disc in the bag with a Witness. The witness has a tick more glide and distance.

IMO, the best aspect of the Stalker is that it'll fly very straight and doesn't have a sharp fade at the end of flight. You can thread a needle with it. Good disc for shortish, precise drives.

Why is this listed as a speed 8 on here? It's clearly a mid-fairway tweener. I steered clear of this disc because it sounded like a beginner tweener, but saw that Austin Turner tosses them and that kid has a cannon. At 2017 Utah Open he put a Z Force on a pure 546 ft hyzer. I can't throw anywhere close to that, but I figure this kid's main fairway is a Stalker, it must be controllable disc.

I like it. Super straight and can handle a broad range of power while still getting a similar flight.

Loses a star for that bead. Don't care for beads.

The Elite Z Stalker is one of the best discs I've used.  The Stalker holds any line you put it on.  I find the rim size just right it fits my hand nice so can get a good grip on it. The Stalker can get some pretty nice distance 300 to 350 feet. I know some pro's that get a Stalker out at just over 400 feet. If the hole is 350 feet or less I'm reaching for the Stalker unless it is real windy.

Straightest flying driver I have ever thrown. I ditched my old TeeBird for this even. Eventually I found a more beat in TeeBird that flew more straight compared to my old one, but the Stalker is still my go to straight driver for 250 and under. You do have to be careful how hard you rip it though because it can go right on you and not come back (RHBH). Very helpful on fairway shots where you need to get through trees and such. I've even used this for hammer shots to get out of tough spots in bushes and it has performed well. The Stalker can do almost no wrong. Just stalkin!!

The Elite Z Stalker is my straight flier.  Pure and simple.  When I need the flight path of my Buzzz but the distance of a driver, I will pull this out.  It's a disc that I trust to do what I want it to do; whether I'm by a river and don't want it to fade hard and go in, or if I'm in the woods and need to thread a gap between trees.  I never have trouble getting the distance or control I seed out of this disc.  Excellent fairway driver.

The Stalker is a disc I can use for almost any shot. It flies very straight, with a bit of fade at the end. It also has a large forward skip, which is good for getting you closer to the basket. I know I have had throws that I throw straight into the ground 30 feet away, but the skip doubles the distance. Also, when put on a hyzer will hold a nice line with a sizable skip. Versatile disc that will stay with me.

The stalker is basically a longer Buzzz, but a little more OS. Thrown with a slight hyzer angle I can get this disc to go about 350' on a straight shot. If you can throw a Buzzz pretty far you don't need a stalker, but if you have a slower arm, the stalker will get you some extra distance.

The Z Stalker is great for one thing, Straight as an arrow flight path. Thrown on a slight hyzer this disc would flatten out and never turn or fade. I never got alot of distance out of the Stalker, around 275 feet if you had it going perfectly straight. Its worth it to have a disc that you can rely on for dead straight shots.

I have this disc in Elite Z tie-dye. This is a nice control driver with very little fade. When I first got it I was immediately surprised at how far it went for a fairway. The first time I played a course with it I missed several shots because I was expecting more fade at the end. That's not a bad thing though as it is incredibly useful for straight shots.

I just got a Z Stalker, and it's quickly become my go to straight shot disc. Glide could be a bit better. I think that's why I rarely get as much distance with this as I do with some others. But it's definitely staying in my bag. I use it all the time now when I have to throw between some trees. And the Z plastic seems very durable.

A longer Buzzz. Will old a line fairly well (not as well as a Buzz). The larger rim allows for a power grip, making it good for hyzer flips. Beginners will likely find it not flying straight, but intermediate and advanced players will generate enough power for dead straight flights. Some may call it a "tweener" disc, it is more fairway driver than mid-range. TI plastic is a little less stable than the Z. Good tunnel shot and woods driver.

Gentle fade at the end of the flight. Can handle just about any line I've thrown it on.. Rarely skips more than 5 feet after impact and handles sidearm throws extremely well. I pull one out of the bag for shots around 275-300ft every time. Buy one, toss it around awhile and watch yourself start to park your drives. One of my favorite discs, have one in Z and one in Ti thats a bit more overstable

The Z Stalker probably doesn't get as much credit as it deserves. It's a solid fairway driver that can get the average arm out to 300-320 feet or so. It flies straight and doesn't get too fussy with the wind. The Ti plastic gives the Stalker just a slight bit more fade tacked on the end.
