I first got a Stalker when it was released loooong long time ago. Around 2009 I believe?

It has a great flight. Stable. Straight. Smooth small fade. When it beats up it and go like a long stable midrange.
My only gripe is the kinda awkward design/shape/hand feel. It's not my favorite but for flight it's a solid choice for stable fairway disc.

Basically feels like a teebird clone. Great for fairly straight shots in the 270ft range.

This is one of the best straight fairways I've thrown. Holds whatever line you throw it on with very little fade

    Stalk those chains!!

This fairway driver is perfect for beginners looking for a disc that they can put a lot of muscle into. Super straight flier with a soft fade at the end. Over cook it and you can get a flip and then a slight fade at the end. This is the perfect fairway driver for any skill level.

This is my go-to disc in my bag for most distances under 320'. I absolutely love the flight. I can get a slight hyzer, absolutely straight for a small S curve with this disc depending the the fairway I am facing. I will likely buy another just to keep with me because i love this disc so much. I dont have another in my bag or that I am even aware of that will do what this disc can for me. I think this disc can be beginner friendly as I am still relatively new but if you dont get the spin on it, then it will hyzer out on you.

    ESP Stalker

I have tried many 7 speed discs and have really enjoyed numerous options. However, the Stalker is the one that I bag. I haven't really needed, or thought about going away from it because it does exactly what I need it to do. It can handle a firm rip without turning over (based on my arm speed - which is not a power thrower). It will stay straight for most of the flight and then have a gentle, but reliable fade at the end. Isn't that what you want in a workhorse seven speed fairway?

Although I really like the disc, I actually don't use it a lot. I love mid's, so if I am in range, I will always use one. And, I really enjoy throwing the Undertaker and use that for a majority of my fairway shots. So, that leaves a fairly small range that I will pull this out. But it doesn't disappoint when I need it.

I use it almost exclusively BH since I have others that I commonly use FH. However, in the few times I have used it FH, no complaints. In the end, a solid disc that gives me confidence in accuracy and even provides some decent distance. I don't worry about flipping it over and can always rely on a small fade at the end. I like the -1 turn, but would go 1.5 on the fade.

good straight tunnel disc in the woods, have since moved to an undertaker because i think it does everything the stalker does but better and farther. If you like beads on your drivers for some weird reason then give this one a try. has a surprising amount of stability too, wouldn't ride straight for as long as expected and would actually have a surprising amount of dump at the end of the flight.

Just discovered this disc recently. Full weight ESP

This disc really bridges the gap between mid-ranges and fairway drivers for me.  Reliable straight flight with a tiny fade at the end.  Seems to flip up to flat pretty easily but not too much past.  I typically use it in situations where I might use a buzzz but want a bit more distance or don't want to have to throw quite as hard.

Review is for the ESP Stalker

The Stalker has quickly become my go to Fairway Driver and one of my most thrown discs as a newer player. It fits great in the hand with relatively flat top and smaller rim. The feel is similar to a midrange, but with the flight of a fairway driver. If there was one word for this disc, it would be consistent.

The printed flight numbers are spot on for me: 7, 5, -1, 2. When thrown hard and flat, this disc is a laser. It glides well and remains straight. Thrown with a little less power and you get the noticeable fade at the end of a straight flight. With a slight flat to anhyzer release you really notice the -1 turn. It has the capability of creating a slight "S" shape, but tends to be on the straighter side of an "S" compared to discs with more (-2 or -3) turn. It is possible to turn over the Stalker when thrown on an anhyzer, but it does fade back some at the end of the flight. It stands out enough to be bagged along with a Mantis (or other discs in the  -2 turn, 2 fade family).

Those who describe the Stalker as a longer range Buzzz are on-point. If anything it might fade a bit more than a Buzzz depending on power and release angle, but I get a more consistent flight out of the Stalker than a Buzzz. Where this disc really shines for me is on low-ceiling and cross-wind shots. With low-ceilings it is very easy to throw a controlled straight shot using the Stalker. In left to right cross-winds, the Stalker is a perfect disc for me as a LHBH player. Throwing it hard on a flat to anhyzer release into the wind and letting it turn before getting pushed far down the fairway as it fades has created a reliable distance throw off the tee.

Would strongly recommend this disc to new players looking for either a first fairway driver or as a first stable/straight (not overstable) fairway driver to compliment their understable drivers. It's a disc for all skill levels and can likely find a place in your bag in the straight/stable slot.
