If you like firm, thin, putters that just feel good in your hand, the Discraft Ringer is for you. The Ringer is an overstable putter (Discraft Stability 1.5) with a low profile (1.8cm tall). The excellent feel this disc provides will help you gain confidence and make more putts. One of the best things about the Ringer is that it’s available in the low cost Pro-D plastic.

I'm very new to disc golf and this the putter that has been most comfortable for me. I really like the thin profile and the rubbery feel. Flies well forehand or backhand. Because it is a softer plastic, it does get dinged up (I play on a very wooded course and my accuracy is still lacking).

I just started to use this putter about a month ago and I have mainly come to love it as an approach disc. I first bought the ringer due to the rubbery feel of the disc. This feel gives it a nice comfort in your hand and the rubbery texture grabs the chains of the basket very very well. But what I love more than the rubbery part of the disc is the depth. It is VERY shallow and almost feels like a mid range disc. I've been throwing it of the tee and it has a stable flight path for 150-200 feet then it likes to fade left just a hair. If there is a course with a lifted green or a hill or water hazard on the other side of the basket I use this disc and an upshot since it's more likely to stick to the grass due to the rubbery texture. I recommend it for beginners so they can feel this disc out and figure out whether they would like to use it as a throwing putter or just use it for putting. It works well for both

This disc is money in the X soft. I own two. The Elite Z is too slippery to put with, and if there's any moisture whatsoever it loses accuracy on approach shots. It sits in my closet.

The X Soft is the opposite. Plenty of grip, even when everything is damp. It is absolutely the perfect driving /approach disc and the most reliable disc I own. I don't put with it inside the circle, however, as it does have a strong low-speed fade.

This disc is fantastic! I bought it in Elite Z as a stable thrower and immediately bought it in X to putt with. It booted my Magnet which held the spot for 6 years.

It's a stable, grippy, consistent putter with a flattop that flies straight and then finishes left (RHBH). It carries speed well out of the hand which makes it feel very comfortable on the release.

For a beginner, this would be a good over stable putter for putting and approaching.

The ringer is an excellent P&A disc. It has enough integrity to hold up to the wind and give a nice reliable finish. Good hyzerflip to glide or hyzerflip to hyzer when worked in as they beat up to fairly neutral / straight eventually. Make good turnover putters at that point.

The X version is typically flatter with more grip. The recent run of Pro-D seems to be either domey or concave, which was not what I was looking for.

I use one of these for nearly all shots under 240ft. Very underappreciated disc.

LOVE the new X version of this.  Been making crazy putts with it.  I love the low profile, and the X plastic has a flat top.  The D seems to have a dome.  Was using a Banger, but this comes out of my hand much more consistent.

It is similar in profile to a Pure, but with a bead and overstable.  Exactly what I've needed.
