    Pro-D Details

Pro-D is Discrafts affordable basic plastic blend. This isn't the most durable plastic, but it provides good grip and is very affordable. For old school disc golfers that like to "break in" thier discs for varying flight paths, Pro-D is an excellent choice. It is also one of the most popular blends for putters and is often referred to as "putter line" plastic.

The focus is a great putting putter for people who like beaded putters. It is a stable putter that will have a consistent small fade at the end of the putt. So if you hyzer put or aim slightly right waiting for the fade this disc will fit your putt well. I really liked this for anything inside circle one, I am impartial to putting with beaded putters so the bead didn't affect how I liked this putter. I did not like throwing this putter as much for outside the circle because I found I was missing left a lot due to the extra amount of fade it has over other putters. I also did not like throwing this putter off of the tee. I never felt like I got a good release and the flight was never exactly how I liked it. I think because there aren't any premium plastics that the focus comes with it will be a very flippy putter for you after a few rounds. Overall I think a lot of people might like the flight that the focus has over other putters. Adam Hammes putts with these and he can manipulate them to his liking so I am guessing they are really workable when you learn them and beat them in a little bit.

The Focus, from Discraft, is a nice beaded, stable putter. It feels very similar to a Wizard in the hand, it has that nice shoulder but flatter top and a nice bead for stability. It did not start off as stable as a Wizard for me, but I actually liked that. It held up to throws off the tee, upshots, and putting, but didn't require seasoning like my Wizards do. When thrown with power there is a hint of turn, but it still fades nicely at the end, and when putting, they carry a nice straight line. If I were to throw a Discraft putter full time, this would be my choice.

I use this disc for most of my approach shots.  I feel I can use it for any shaped approaches.  Enough stability to handle a little headwind, but no so much that it can't be thrown on an anhyzer and hold the line.

Great all around work horse putter. Just enough stability to take good snap and arm speed off the tee. Not so overstable that it can't be turned over or thrown straight at slower speeds. It's Discraft's attempt to compete with the Wizard. It's a Challenger top with a Wizard bottom. I prefer the stiffer Pro-D to the X soft versions. Makes a really good putting putter too but I use a Spike by Latitude for that role.
