The Challenger OS is a more overstable, flat-topped version of the popular Challenger. This putter works best for driving, throwing into headwinds, weaving forehand approaches, and tossing hyzer putts. It is overstable enough to meet the majority of a player's needs without feeling like a meat hook.

The Challenger OS is a great addition to the putter lineup at Discraft. The OS felt great in hand, and I hardly notice the difference between a regular Challenger. The jawbreaker plastic felt great and was super grippy. This putter worked for everything: In the circle, upshots, and off the teepad. Don't let the OS fool you, its stable, but not a meathook. I really liked driving it off the tee best, and I think that is where most would probably want to use it. Overall, another great disc from Discraft.

The OS felt really great in the hand. And like most of everyone out there the OS in the name turned me away pretty quickly. I have all three challengers, but i put more on a hyzer and the Regular challenger didn't seem glide well with how i release the disc, The OS i can putt a little bit flatter than normal and i confidently can hit 30-40 feet out. The bigger bead is more comfortable in my preference as apposed to the micro bead on the challenger. I actually made my regular challenger into my upshot putter due to the straight flight so it is kinda backwards but works for me.

The jawbreaker has a better feel but once the temp gets to about 90 degrees i switch to the Pro D plastic for the putters just because the jawbreaker is more like a medium from trilogy plastics. All in all everything about this putter is perfect for my bag.

Initially I struggled with the Challenger OS because I looked at the "OS" (overstable) and assumed that this would be a significantly more overstable putter than the regular Challenger. I soon discovered that this was not the case. Once I adjusted my putts and stopped trying to fade to the target, the Challenger OS flew much better for me. The overstability is really only due to a minor increase in bead size on the rim. Since I like beaded putters, that made the disc feel more "at home" in my hand. But that added bead doesn't change the flight much at all, only adding a slight end fade. This was nothing like an Aviar3, Harp, or P3X when it comes to overstable throwing putters. I found it much more like a Judge or a Wizard when used for putting, and that's a good thing in my book. Those are both great putters.

As for the Jawbreaker plastic, I've always liked it for putters, being slightly more durable than Pro-D, but still softer than the slick, premium plastics. Plus Jawbreaker features the added aesthetic appeal of color variations and speckles. All in all I had a good experience with the Challenger OS and would simply encourage players not to be spooked by the claims of overstability, because the difference is only slight.

The Challender OS isn't quite as overstable as the title "OS" might suggest- but it is still an awesome disc.

It's a great disc for driving, though it's no Harp. It'll hold a straight line for quite a distance. I was getting about 250' on it. It does fade in the end and doesn't really flip over, which is nice. But it's not necessarily a hyzer bomb putter. On short drives it'll hold a nice little hyzer line, though.

For putting it works really well, I actually made some putts with it! (That's new!) It's a tad more OS than most putters I use, which is fine because it just fades at the end of the putt into the basket, which helps it catch a bit better for me. It feels good in the hand, nothing to complain about. I think this is a great option for those who like Discraft and need an overstable putter that isn't a zone.
