The Challenger OS is a more overstable, flat-topped version of the popular Challenger. This putter works best for driving, throwing into headwinds, weaving forehand approaches, and tossing hyzer putts. It is overstable enough to meet the majority of a player's needs without feeling like a meat hook.

The Challenger OS is an amazing putter and a great setup in Discraft’s putter lineup! I putted with Challengers, Roaches, Luna’s and they all flew how I wanted them to, except I wanted a touch more glide and stability and the Challenger OS was perfect! The Crazy Tuff plastic is rock hard and feels perfect in my hands! I also use the Pro-D as well, but I prefer the CT for the slight slickness and feel! The Challenger OS is a very slightly deeper putter, but very comfortable in the hands of you have a medium to larger sized hand! Don’t get me wrong, the Challenger OS is STABLE, but it most definitely isn’t a meathook by any means. I love the Challenger OS for putting primarily and I look forward to using them for throwing and seeing how well the turn out! Overall, I highly recommend the Challenger OS!

    On CT plastic:

The Crazy Tuff plastic feels just as I'd hoped--very KC Pro esque, plenty firm with a texture that's smooth, bordering on slick. Beats in with some small blemishes rather than the deep gouges I've had occur in my Lunas.

    On the Challenger OS:

The bead may be barely larger than the microbead on a Challenger. Rather than thinking of this as a Challenger with a larger bead, it might be more accurate to say that it's a Challenger SS with a bead. It's not as OS as I was expecting--nothing like a Breaker. I had previously driven/upshot/putt with BT Hard Shields--the CT Challenger OS feels and flies very similarly. It's stable to the point that it won't flip, but not so OS that it reduces the glide you'd expect from a workhorse putter.
