Testing this out along with its brother the MD1 and my 5/5/0/2 Zheng, the flight numbers seem to be about right -- though I'm not sure if it's a bit more stable than a 1 Fade, or if my Zheng after enough use now has started to slip from a 2 Fade, because they were very, very similar in their flights, trading off which one went farther on any given round of testing. Both give me really good, pretty straight distance. The MD1, true to the numbers, was typically less stable, tending to float out to the right more at end of flight, though going pretty much the same distance. The plastic seems to have the durability of other Champion-esque grades from various brands, has a good feel, and gives a clean release. A brand new MD3 might still be a bit overtable for beginners, but it shouldn't be too much to work with: they need to have some stable options along with understable starter discs.

    Disc - C-Line MD3, 180

Feel - The MD3 is extremely comfortable in the hand, it does not have a bead, and is not very deep. It feels great for both forehands and backhands. The C-Line plastic is very gummy and grippy but still has great durability.

Flight - The MD3 is a great mid. It is very straight for a majority of its flight but then has a nice forward finishing fade once it slows down. It does not turn even when thrown at full power and holds most lines it is put on. This disc flies further than any other mid in my bag and has reduced my usage of an FD because it is even straighter and goes almost the same distance.

Overall - The MD3 is a great mid and I am excited to beat it in a little more to see what else I can do with it. I would recommend this disc to nearly any player as it seems to be very comfortable for most people's hands and flies tremendously no matter your skill level.

This is a really fun mid-range disc that is super comfortable in my hand. The rim is quite beefy and feels nice with a power grip or fan drip. Typically this disc flies pretty over-stable, but I have turned it over a few times. I have a C-Line X-Out and love the feel of the plastic. Overall, this disc is a great straight-flyer that would work well in woods. It should be noted that this disc also works well with a forehand.
