From the very beginning the MD Discmania had a very clear cut mission - to fill their straight to understable midrange slot and have the ultimate control midrange. The MD certainly fits the bill for both of those goals. By “ultimate control” they want the thrower to be able to control this disc to do any and every type of flight fresh off the shelf. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and then imagine all of the different shots you can accomplish with this midrange driver. The feel of this disc is great as well. It has a slight dome and a convex lower wing. It feels like it belongs in your hand and it's ready to tackle all of your midrange duties.

The Discmania MD is fantastic, a very very point-and-shoot disc. If you're a thrower who can hit their angles consistently, then the MD will give you very accurate flights. While it is just a four-speed, the distance it is able to get is much farther than you would think. The MD has incredible glide and will go forever on the angle you put it on.

The Discmania MD is out of production unfortunately but you can find them on most facebook resale sites for an up charged price. Or you can stay on Infinite Discs and find your self am Innova Mako which feels and flies very similarly.

This disc is about as point and shoot as it gets, and that does a lot for the confidence of anyone's game. I have this in c-line plastic at 175 grams and this works wonders for me like no other disc can. I use it for long, straight shots (in which it does not fight out of the angle and just glides straight forever), hyzer shots in which I know I do not need a lot of fade or skip (it will hold the line and not flip over), and anhyzer shots (in which the disc will hold the line and not fight out of the angle and fade). It truly is an all around disc, as I even use it for jump putts whenever I am at least 50 feet away because it is just that accurate and will hold any line and ride it until it runs out of juice. It is not only beginner friendly, but may be THE beginner disc because of the perfect combo of speed, glide, and accuracy. If you get the chance, pick this disc up and try it for yourself because you will not be disappointed.

The Discmania MD is a midrange driver that's a straight-flyer and has good air-time. A great first midrange for someone to start with, and has uses all the way to advanced players, and beyond. I bought it in C-Line plastic at 180 grams, and it's stable and glidey for me. It's now in my bag.

This is a great mid-range disc, and one I wish I would have discovered just starting out. Discs like this are how I developed my backhand (used to be extremely forehand dominant).

Play rounds and do fieldwork with only the MD for a few weeks (in calm/tailwind conditions). It will show you exactly what you are doing wrong. Releasing on a hyzer? The MD will ride on a hyzer angle the entire flight. Nose up/high releases? The MD will really exaggerate the stall-out at the end of the flight and "hang" while fading out. Off-Axis Torque will make it flip over while wobbling, showing you exactly what happened.

All these attributes also have the added bonus of rewarding you with a VERY pretty flight when you release it smoothly and flat; the MD will glide for days, with just a hint of turn mid flight and a hint of fade at the end for a laser-straight shot. If you throw it right, you could get a full flight in a 10' wide tunnel, that is how slight I'm talking.

For feel, it's a bit deeper than what I usually like but has a nice round feeling rim and the flight of the disc made me get used to it really quickly! I cannot recommend this disc enough!

I have a max weight Luster MD and it's probably the mid I use most. It flies absolutely neutral for me - whatever angle I release it on, it holds. When I get a good flat rip on it, it goes dead straight with a surprising amount of resistance to the wind. The Luster C-Line plastic is incredibly durable, has great grip, and looks awesome. Would recommend to anyone!

As my skill grows I notice the disc fly more closely to their numbers....funny how that works. This disc is a straight flyer for me. If I would have reviewed this before spending the last year focusing on throwing putters or having "putter rounds" I would have said this was flippy. This is point and shoot and it really helps to show if your spin to torque ratio is off. Great Disc for beginners.

This is an awesome mid range from Discmania. It was one of the first discs I tried from them and I very much enjoyed it till I lost it. Mine was a C-line 175 blue with white lettering on it. It was very straight and easy to throw. But if you try to throw with some OAT or get on it too much it can and will go right on you (RHBH). This was a disc that helped me get my form better, and realize how much I really enjoy throwing mids and fairways. Once you get it dialed in this can be a laser straight disc that doesn't take a lot to get it going. Felt great in the hand and was super easy to throw. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a straight easy to throw mid.

The MD is the first mid-range I owned that I could actually get to fly straight.  I'm not a big fan of mid-range discs because the rim is not comfortable in my hand, but the MD is better than most. Extremely durable, but the glossy finish out of the box takes some getting used to.  Very similar flight to the Infinite Discs Anubis, but not as domey.

Fresh off the shelf the MD is a straight disc with a trustworthy stability.  While it is not overstable, it has plenty of stability to handle torque both forehand and backhand.  A true "point and shoot" kind of disc.  It will hold any line you put it on.  Definitely a smooth flyer

The Discmania MD is my new favorite mid range disc. Very neutral, very versatile. I use this disc a lot in the woods, tunnel shots/tight gaps and longer approaches with a tail wind or where I need a dead-nuts straight flight. Thrown with anny it'll hold it all the way. Thrown with hyzer it'll hold the line or flip up and ride straight depending on the power you give it. Throw it flat and soft with a control grip and its dead straight for 200'-250' throw it flat and hard for that natural turn. Goes where you tell it to. Super comfortable in the hand and super useful for any player.

The MD is a really good "point and shoot" disc because it holds whatever line you release it on for 90% of the flight. With some power this disc can go really far, I reached 300 feet on a dead rope with it before but I honestly haven't thrown it as hard as I can so I'm sure it has even more distance than that! It has a really unusual rim shape because the outer edge/lip is convex. It feels very comfortable and full for my large hands. I don't throw my MD very much anymore because I prefer the grip and versatility of my KC Pro Rocs slightly more, but I would highly recommend the MD for people looking for a mid range that flies straight lines on any angle.

The MD is a great straight, workable midrange from Discmania. This is a beadless, and slightly domey mid. It almost feels like a bigger putter in the hand. This disc has a lot to offer with its flight, as it will go where you throw it. This makes it a great disc for reinforcing good form. It reminds me an awful lot of the MIllenium Aurora. This is a great option for beginners, and long time players alike.

My first disc.  Slightly domey beadless mid.  Very straight flight with a little bit of fade at the end when new, beats into a straight flier.  Great mid for shot shaping.  My favorite mid for straight wood shots.

    180 C-MD

When I first picked up this disc I really didn't know what to expect. When I tell you that this disc flies true to its numbers it really does. It just goes Dead straight. Its not and understable straight either it really is a stable disc that will just glide for days. When put on a hyzer line you can tell it starts to flip but will hold the hyzer. On a flex/turnover through it will hold any line that you throw. It has a tremendous amount of glide and when thrown right will be a immediate threat in anyones bag.

    180 C-Line MD

Man is this disc straight flying! If you are looking for a disc that has little to no fade this is it. This is a great disc to work on your anhyzer shots, or long tunnel shots. It takes a good toss to make it turn over, for me I can throw it 300 ft on a dead straight line and it won't turn. Great for beginners.

STRAIGHT.  That is exactly what the MD is supposed to do.  This is even straighter than the legendary Buzzz.  This disc will hold any line that you put it on.  The MD is perfect for short tunnel shots bc it can be thrown low without worry of turning over.

Picked this disc up looking for a Discmania answer to my champ Mako3. Felt very similar without really having to give it too much. This disc is GREAT for straight, low ceiling approach shots. Would have kept it in my bag but I felt as though I could make the same shots with a slightly beat D P2, or a beat P MD3.

Would recommend this disc to a beginner. Itll help clean up your form and help with basics to the game.

Acquired a 172g C-Line MD and gave it several weeks of work on the range and the course.  Feels okay in the hand.  Thrown at full power, the MD is flippy, turns over, and is unreliable.  Thrown with less power or on uphill shots, it's still pretty understable.  If you like Discmania, an MD2 might be the better choice.  The Innova Mako or Mako3 might also be a more consistent and reliable disc, as well.

I have a 170 gram red MD and it has become pretty much my favorite disc. This is becasue it has made me a much better golfer after having it. When I first got this disc I absolutly hated it, it was: turning off to the right the left not going where I wanted it until I had that one great throw when it went 250 feet dead and I mean dead straight. At that point I realized that it was all because my form was off by just enough to not have it go the way I wanted it. This disc has improved my form more than anything else (practice/ disc) and has secured its place in my bag forever. It is readibly able to handle power I threw this thing clear across a football field on an ice rope with 5 feet of right to left fade RHBH. Further if you put this disc on a big hyzer release out of your hand (with plenty of power) it will flip up to almost flat and will hold a very long (lazy) hyzer line all the way to the ground; a truly unique shot I can't replicate with any of my Roc3's or M4's. Also having a straight up point and shoot disc that's able to go 200+ feet is invalueable once you've had it. If you want to become a better golfer, and add some unique shots to your game I would say buy this disc.

The MD for me is smooth, and straight.  You can really shape your shot with it as it will take annys and hyzers with little argument.  I highly recommend it.

The Discmania MD is a great overall midrange. It is my newest middie in my bag so it is still fresh (5-6 rounds of play).

It flies very much like my Champion VRoc, so naturally it is a keeper. The MD has a nice rounded rim, so it feels really comfortable in any grip. The MD will also hold any line it is put on, long or short drives/approaches. Almost absolute 0 fade on a straight shot.

I would recommend this disc to any player. Regardless of current midranges you carry this is an A++ addition  for any bag.
