Disc: Discmania Active Premium Maestro, 170g

Feel: This disc doesn’t really feel like an unusual disc in any way. It feels pretty good both forehand and backhand. The plastic pretty much has the same feel as champion.

Flight: This disc has a pretty standard midrange flight. It’s straight the whole way when thrown flat, and it finishes with a gentle fade. I never use this disc on shots of greater than 220-250, as I feel an Innova Roc3 is going to give me a much more consistent flight past that range. I do like how this smooth this disc’s flight is. Even when thrown in somewhat windy conditions, it holds the line I give it almost perfectly. I have flipped this disc over a few times, but I’d say it doesn’t flip when you throw it properly.

Overall: This is a good midrange! I like it, but it’s just not my favorite. Maybe it will be yours!

I have this disc in Premium plastic 175 grams.

Feel is fairly good. A little on the domey side. Plastic is firm and I like that. Seems very durable. Disc is very shallow, basically like a Zone or P3.

Flight is pretty spot on with the numbers. I might classify it more as a putter versus mid however. Maybe speed 3.5.

Nice disc, wish it wasn't as domey as it is.

This is a very reliable midrange. I have been bagging this for a few months now and I have not thought about taking it out yet. I have it in the active premium plastic at 174 grams and it has definitely been a blessing to my game. It has been a great approach disc that I even use for some longer jump putts. When I first got this I thought it was very similar to a md2 but I'm glad I gave this a legit try. I can throw the other mid ranges farther but there's just something about this disc that gives me confidence. It is reliable on hyzer and always finishes left. When thrown flat it goes a decent way before finishing. Finally on a flex shot it bites off some decent distance before finally coming back left. Though I wish it had more glide, I'm happy with this disc because I can just switch to another disc for more distance. This is one that I won't try to throw over 200 feet because I do not want to push it too far when I can just use another mid for it. This honestly seems like an approach disc more than a straight up midrange, but I enjoy it nonetheless and think you may too.
