The Discmania Link, the first putter in Discmania's Evolution line by Latitude 64. This neutral-flying disc excels both as a close-range putter inside the circle or for approaches all the way to a powerful drive off the tee. With a rounded rim featuring a large but comfortable bead, the Link offers a clean feel in the hand that accommodates various grips, including putter grip, fan grip, or power grip.

I keep coming back to the Link. Over and over. I like the glide, it's slim and fits my hand well. I love the tacky feeling of the Exo Soft. As well, I use the Exo Super Soft for winter rounds and occasionally I have a beat up Soft for a sticky throwing putter. I prefer beaded putters, but it isn't ungodly big. I imagine the Link will come out at some point because I can't help trying new things, but I'll always come back to it.

I said in another review of this disc in a different plastic that it is the most underrated disc in my opinion. The exo soft plastic is tacky and grippy in any conditions, and it has a perfect amount of stability and glide for putting from any range. I putt with soft links in the circle, outside the circle and long jump putt approaches. The plastic type reduces ground movement upon landing, and it also seems to make the baskets slightly more forgiving. Love this putter.

great beginner putter it's stable enough to hyzer putt and on the same spectrum it's flat enough to spin putt a great learners disc I used this all last season before switching back to my magnet as I didn't see any drastic increase in my putting. but for beginners it's cost effective and pretty resilient even in the soft plastic. the exo hard is nice and grippy in Temps above 80°f and the soft stays grippy all the way down to 0. on the other hand don't waste your time with the limited run lux plastics as they are more for show than anything as the grip is terrible in all weather. the base geo plastic is probably the best rain putter I have ever thrown it gets even gripper the wetter the disc is.

I originally got an Exo soft Link when they first released so about two years ago and boy is it a great disc. I first liked it for just pretty straight shots and loved it, in Exo soft it's nice and sticky and will sit down almost anywhere so I'll sometimes put with it if it's a death putt as to not go over an edge. A bit similar to R-pro plastic from Innova. As it beat it it's become a nice turnover butter but still a great straight flyer, I can push it near 300 if I need to but also use it from short. Great disc

The Link in Exo Soft is my de-facto FH approach disc from 150' in to putting range. The top is super flat but not a puddle-top and it has a rather large bead. I don't find it very comfortable as a putting putter (I putt with a champ Aviar) and in Soft I feel the glide is less than a 3. This disc likes to get down fairly quick and doesn't mind a little wind. Off the tee I still prefer a shallower rim, like the Axiom Envy, but as a FH heavy player this disc gets grabbed nearly as much as my Aviar. Holds any line you put in on but won't sail off on you and stays put where it lands. Shaves strokes off of every game I play.

I like this disc as it is a nice feel putting with. It is very stable so I know that my puts will go where I want them to go. I like throwing it, yet I never really throw it because it is too slow for my arm. I like the soft plastic and am glad that I bought it because it feels great in the hand when putting with it.

My go to straight flying putter, and putting putter

Both exos give excellent grip but I think the soft is a bit better when it's wet/rain.

I got 2 aces in one day, and a spit-out almost ace the next day with this disc.. can't complain!

I own the lumen link version and love the feel. I got mine at my local shop around Halloween and it has the medusa stamp which is sick.  Feels awesome once beat in. The bead is slight but fits well in the hand . I am soon gonna be using mine for driving i highly recommend.

Nice hand feel. Not fast enough for my putting, but likes push putts. Works well as a throwing putter - very straight with a little finish.

Absolutely the best putter out there. It will hold any line you put it on, I have 100% dependability in this disc.

The Link is my putting and throwing putter. It's super comfy in my hand. It has a consistent fade at the end but not too much. I love the flat top and the bead. It is also the perfect depth for me. All of those things make the Link super comfortable in my hand. When thrown hard, it can get a little bit of turn but generally fights out of it and fades just a touch. It's exactly what I need in my throwing putter. It does what I need it to and it looks great.

I love the soft link. It's very similar to the judge for me but a tad more glide. I don't use it for off the tee at the moment. The soft is very comparable to trilogy's blend feel.

As a newer disc golfer, I don't have a whole lot of frame of reference for lots of different discs. And putters are no different. This is maybe my 3-4th mold of a putter I have tried since I began playing and boy does this disc fit me well!

Feel: This putter feels so much better in my hand than literally every putter I've tried so far, except my K3 Reko. I've tried five different P2's, an MVP Ion, an RPM Tui, a Shaman, a few Bergs in different plastics, a K3 Reko, and played a few holes with some buddies putters (wizards, P3x and something else) and now this. And it feels exactly like my K3 Reko! It's sort of thin and shallow, but not so much as my Shaman. The Link has the perfect amount of rim to hold onto if you want to power grip it and has a very ergonomic shape (nice semi rounded pointy nose/rim shape) that fits in my hand perfectly (I have huge hands and yet LOVE slightly smaller thinner discs in general and hate deep dish putters). The shape of this putter and how it feels in your hand is a huge reason why I love this putter and why I can putt, approach and throw with this disc so well. It's like Discmania read my mind when they made this thing! It also has a beautiful shape. The leading edge is perfect and sort of reminds me of my Ion. It's a sort of rounded pointy shaped rim. And the top is dead flate with the tiniest bit of puddle to it now after having it for about a month. Feels PERFECT in your hand when throwing and gives me so much confidence because of it's perfect handfeel and shape!

The bead is totally irrelevant to me. It makes no difference. It cracks me up that people say they can or can not putt with a putter if it has a bead or doesn't. I have putters with and without beads and it makes no difference at all to how it actually throws. It's all in your head. I'd say the only thing the bead has a tiny effect on is when I use it for tiny little FH flick approach shots. It just feels a tiny bit different then my Reko and doesn't come out of my hand quite as clean as my Reko does, but still works amazing for that shot. The Reko is just a bit better for that shot. But other than that, this disc feels incredible and is perfect. Overall it has a thinner profile than the P2, and less rim depth as well. And that is perfect for me. The P2 and others like it, are too much like a frisbee to me and I don't like that feel. This Link is perfect.

Plastic: As the last reviewer said, these plastics are 100% Scandinavian. The Exo Soft is the one I feel the most comfortable with. I can't stand rock hard slick putters like the Discmania P line stuff. I get no feel, no release/snap, nothing. Also, the Exo Soft is 100% like the Kastaplast K3 plastic in every single way. I bought a K3 Reko two weeks before I picked up this Link, and this Link is 99% the same as the K3 Reko, but the Link has a tiny bead and the Reko doesn't. Other than that, they are identical in every single way, shape, feel, flight path, stiffness, durability, etc.

So what does all that mean? It means this putter is one of the best out there and has an incredible plastic that has the perfect feel, perfect stiffness and perfect flight path. It's a very odd feel to me as I've never felt anything like this plastic. It's sort of tacky and like fingerprint sticky. But not gummy. It's more like a dry, satin, chalky feel, kind of like some of the nicer mobile phone cases. It's incredible! It's very durable for a baseline plastic as well. It's bright white, so you see ALL the chain damage, but even after a few months, it still looks really good and has no major chunks missing like my D line P2 does. It's a semi stiff plastic overall, but the flight plate gives just a tiny little bit. If a P-Line is 5 out of 5 in stiffness, then this is like 4 out of 5. Stiff enough to be very reliable and consistent in it's flight path even on hard throws, but it has that incredible soft, satin, chalky, tacky feel that lets your finger prints stick a tiny bit to the disc, to allow you to get snap on the disc with the most minimal of wrist flicks. To me, this plastic and the K3 are THE PERFECT putter plastics. And so far, more durable than other companies baseline putter plastics.

Flight: Not going to bore you with all the details about how it putts other than it putts perfect. Once again, as the last reviewer said, most putters putt about the same around 20' or in. It's only when you get to longer putts and throwing do putters truly separate themselves. And this putter does both just about perfectly! All putts inside 30' are just about dead straight with the tiniest of fades near the end. Also has the perfect amount of glide for putts (not too much, not too little) and it also throws well for approaches. Just point, aim and shoot and watch it go dead straight, fade 1-3' and land a few feet from the basket like it's falling onto a bed of goose down pillows. Silky smooth approaches are so easy with this thing. And if you really get on it off the tee pad with some power or a long approach, it does show some turn and stays there most of the flight until the end, when it softly fades back a few feet. For a net flight of straight. It also can get out there off the tee! On a few warm up sessions before a rd, I've thrown this thing almost as far as some of my mids! And very easily as well. It's not like I have to really crush it.

Overall: this is by far the best putter I have tried to date along with my K3 Reko. The two are identical twins other than the bead and I putt and throw with them both all the time and can't even tell which one is in my hand sometimes they are so alike, haha. Putts just about perfect, feels better than any putter I've ever tried, the grip is incredible, and the durability is great. You can throw a lot of different flight paths with this disc and it also works great for little FH flicks and recovery shots. Thank you Discmania!

I decided to redo my review on the Link. I currently use this disc for putting, but if I want to change off of using a bead, I use the Discraft Luna.

Feel: Comparing the Link to a Discmania mold, it is slightly shallower and more rounded than the P1x. Feels sort of similar to a P3x with a flat top and a more rounded bottom, and its also not a brick. Comparing to a Latitude 64 mold, it is very similar to a Macana. The Macana does feel slightly deeper but not much. The top is pretty similar but the bottom has a slight difference. The Link also feels pretty similar to a Prodigy PA3, just a more rounded feel in general. Doesn't feel like a Judge to me personally. The Judge has a more pointed bullet nose and a bigger bead, and feels slightly shallower.

Plastic: Exo Soft and Exo Hard are the same as Latitude 64 Zero Medium and Zero Hard respectively. Initially I thought that the plastic was slightly different, but the plastic from Latitude changed a bit most likely due to their supply, which isn't uncommon for any manufacturer. The Exo Hard is pretty stiff but has a nice tack to it. The Exo Soft is a medium stiffness plastic that's still got some stiffness around the rim but the flight plate is a little softer. Has a nice grip with just a tiny bit of gumminess to it. I use the Soft for anything around 70 degrees or cooler, if its hotter I'll use the Hard.

Flight: For putting, most discs are going to fly the same within 25~ feet. I use a pure spin putt similar to Simon Lizotte and the Link just goes dead straight for 35~ feet and then you start to see a little bit of a fade but nothing I really have to adjust for within 40-45 feet. I also enjoy using the Link for push putting depending on how I'm feeling.

For throwing the Link is pretty neutral. Reminds me of a pilot with maybe the tiniest bit less glide, with a little more high and low speed stability. The link will go very straight and then have a little fade at the end of the flight. If you put a lot into it, you can get it to turn for a bit and then it will flatten out. It is also very good at holding angles. I look forward to getting a premium plastic one, and then beating in a base plastic one to have a couple slots covered by one disc.

Overall, the Link is a very good addition to the Discmania lineup. Its really not anything magical across all brands, but I enjoy the disc a lot still. I think it has a nice combination of glide without being too floaty, and a little bit of stability without being annoying.

This was the putter I've been looking for, to me it's most similar to a beaded Latitude 64 Pure. It flies super straight with maybe a little bit of fade but with that soft plastic and flat top that makes it a a consistent release. It's kicked my P2's and Pures out and made sure I never buy a Judge because I'll be using these for a long time now

As a beginner, this is the first putter that immediately felt good in the hand for putting and has improved my game and confidence immensely.

Before this, I tried a regular Aviar (from a beginner set), Magnet, KC Pro Aviar, Warden, Dagger, and a Wizard.

This one just stuck, 175g, the soft plastic has a great grip, similar in feel to my Wizard in SS but not quite as flexible.

Seems to hold most lines when thrown. It's also very similar to the Wizard but a tad more straight and with a little less fade.

This is the first putter I could actually see myself purchasing multiple molds of, two big thumbs up.
