The FD2 is out of production, and based on the flight of the FD1, which now fills that Teebird spot, a new run of FD2 will most likely be a different disc entirely.

The FD2 is a stable-flying fairway driver with TeeBird like flight ratings. Discmania gives their second fairway driver this description: “The FD2 is a reliable speed 7 workhorse fairway driver for all skill levels. It’s not too glidey to avoid you from sailing off-target and it has a low-speed fade you can depend on. Packed with a nice amount of high speed stability, this disc gives you nice straight lines when thrown flat and hard. The more power you put behind this disc, the straighter lines you will see it perform. When thrown more gently, the fade will kick in earlier in flight, making cutting corners easier.”

The equivalent of Innova Star plastic. Discmania describes this plastic blend, "Excellent grip with great durability. This plastic ages well, which means your disc doesn’t have a drastic change in its flight behavior after a couple of collisions with trees."

I love the FD2. It is so nice and thin and has such a good amount of fade, especially when it's fresh. It is my go-to for forehands in the 200 to 300 ft range. It's my first ace disc too, so it has a special place in my bag. Can't recommend it enough!

If you are looking for a comfortable reliable 7 speed disc, the Royal Rage FD2 is that disc. The plastic is nice and grippy and the rim is very comfortable in the hand. This disc can handle a lot of torque, but I wouldn’t call it over stable by any means. It is very predictable and can be thrown hard without turning over. It holds whatever line you put it on while always having a predictable left finish. It is a great complement to my Night Strike FD.

I just picked up one of these in the S line plastic and absolutely loved it from the first throw off the box. For a 7 speed disc this thing is absolutely amazing. Great distance on power drives off the tee, about 350-400 easily, fantastic control. I was looking for something to fill the gaps between my Leo3 and my DDX and this was a great choice. Highly recommend this disc for anyone who is looking for a nice straight fairway driver that you can get awesome flex shots out of as well
