I have the DD2 (formerly Enigma) in 3 plastic combinations: Neo, Horizon S-Line, and Glow Horizon C-Line. My review for each is as follows.

Neo:

This is just the stock standard Enigma, which at the time of writing this review is still plenty available for purchase but will eventually go away with the move to the originals line. I have found that the flight numbers are pretty true to the discs actual performance. Brand new out of the box it is a bit more overstable, but the nice thing about Neo plastic is that it's durable but also breaks in fairly quickly for a premium plastic blend. This specific disc isn't particularly domey, so it is comfortable on a forehand. However, it seems that it isn't quite as torque resistant as my other DD2s, so it can also be a bit touchy with the forehand. But at the end of the day, its still a wonderful option for anyone looking for something more forgiving than a DD3 or a Destroyer.

Horizon S-Line:

This disc has the most prominent dome of the three that I have, which means I can get this disc further out than the others due to the extra glide that the dome provides. It had the same stability out of the box that a brand new Neo Enigma would have, but it takes a decent bit longer to break-in than Neo plastic. Once it does break-in, it flies very true to the flight numbers. This one is my favorite of the 3.

Glow Horizon C-Line:

No surprises here considering the reputation new Discmania C-Line has because this is definitely the most overstable over the 3. However, it is not quite as overstabe as, say, a stock C-Line DD3 is relative to its flight numbers (this particular DD2 is more like 12|5|-1|2.5 or 12|5|-0.5|2). The dome height is in-between the Neo and the Horizon S-Line and overall this is the best of the 3 on a forehand. And the glow performance is pretty decent I would say. Not as bright as MVP Eclipse or Innova Proto Glow, but good for Discmania glow standards (which I find to be all over the place).

TLDR: Pretty good! I am a fan and I recommend it.

I've loved the Enigma for several years, and I'm glad to see it live on in the form of the DD2. My experience is with the Horizon line DD2, and I find that it is quite similar to a brand new Neo Enigma. It doesn't seem to beat in as quickly as the Neo plastic, and I appreciate that it is holding the flight path long term. It is certainly more stable than the Evolution line Vapor plastic Enigma, but anyone throwing other 12 speed discs (and this is a 12 speed disc according to Discmania, not a 13 speed), should find the DD2 to be a reliably stable and consistent driver, without it being unusably overstable. I don't think it comes close to the stability of a Destroyer, for instance. In a headwind, I need to switch to a Rive or the DD2 will drift or turn over too much. The Horizon DD2 fits in my bag between a Project Grip Rive and a Swirl Steady Wild Honey.

Not an Enigma, not even close. Leave it to Discmania to ruin a great disc by making it super overstable. Flies like any DD3 off the shelf. If you loved the Enigma you might want to stock up on them before they are gone.
