The AGL Discs Magnolia is a stable to slightly overstable midrange disc golf disc. The Magnolia represents AGL’s best selling mid and has become an instant classic for its versatility and the way it’s so easily controllable. The Magnolia mid-range is perfect for those intermediate shots where you need a disc to fly straight and fade predictably. With a (5/6/0/2 Alpine & 5/5/0/2 Woodland) flight rating this disc is just fast enough to be able to withstand a bit of power, but still slow enough to give you pinpoint accuracy. The disc has so much GLIDE in Alpine that AGL decided to change the numbers and now call it a 6-Glide!!! The stability of the Magnolia also means it is more than able to be thrown forehand into those touchy approaches. Find out why the Magnolia is the most popular mid-range in the AGL lineup today!

The magnolia is arguably one of AGL's best discs on their lineup. Being their first midrange created it was a must have for any AGL throwers but it was not a bad choice. The magnolia is that quintessential stable midrange that every company has and almost every disc golfer looks for. It will fly straight almost the whole flight but still has the bite at the end of the shot you want out of a stable mid. I think if you get a woodland plastic mag you will find it to beat in relatively quickly where you can get some flip up but nothing crazy understable until it gets super beat in. The alpine magnolia gives you a more stable option out of the box but still nothing that is truly overstable. Almost all skill players can utilize the magnolia for either a straight midrange or even a more overstable slot for beginners. I find the shallow nature of the magnolia to be really comfortable as I enjoy shallow putters when i throw. If you enjoy a deeper midrange you may not enjoy the magnolia. Also there is a bead on the magnolia, not a huge on but there is still a bead present that people may not enjoy. The magnolia replaced a lot of my mid ranges as I was able to beat in and cycle woodland mags to do all I needed.
