This disc is amazing! flies super straight about 300' with a touch of fade at the end. Holds onto a hyzer and flat angle forever, but with anhyzer you gotta force it over a touch more. A fantastic addition to the bag and instantly replaced my other throwing putters. Bit more glide-y than the numbers reflect.

I throw at 7,000 FT elevation.

LASER BEAMS.  Buy this disc if you want to throw laser beams dead straight at the basket.  Great hand feel, I like the bead.  Buy this disc.

This disc is a staple in my bag.  I can trust this disc on almost every approach especially those line drive shots I need to get right to the basket.  I can even trust it to drop on a decent hyzer up shot.  My approach game has improved a great deal after picking up one of these.  I highly recommend for beginner to professional.  I have only ever used the Luster version so i don't know how the nexus or DX handles yet.  I find the luster to sometimes handle more like a fade of 1.5 - 2.  Overall, this is a versatile disc that I can trust every time.

I primarily use the Invader for approach shots and shots off the tee, and it does its job exceedingly well. It is a remarkably straight flyer with a reliable fade at the end of its flight, which allows you to put some serious power on it. It will hold essentially any line it is put on. It sits on the green very well without skipping, and it is also good for touchy forehand approach shots. The Luster plastic is reliably durable, and it feels grippy and solid in the hand.

Overall, it is a very versatile disc with a lot of potential all around the green. Its feel in the hand is very comfortable, which contributes to its wide variety of uses. I don't have any gripes with this disc, and it fills a very important spot in my bag as my primary throwing putter and approach disc.

Fantastic disc! I have always had trouble finding a putter from Innova that could handle power but still glide and get good distance. The Luster Invader is that disc. Holds whatever angle I put it on and can handle max power. Fantastic for short touchy sidearms as well. First time in 8 years a new mold has been able to make the bag.

Quite possibly the perfect upshot disc. Very straight when thrown flat. Holds an anhyzer or hyper for short shots. Glides just enough to drop by the pin.   I have DX and Luster in the same weight.  The Dax will turn over if thrown with quite a bit of torque however I have not seen the Luster turn over at all.  I carry this disc for straight and anhyzer upshot's with a Star Aviar3 for shots I need to fade left

In the same month as adding the Invader to my bag, I picked up my first two tournament wins and will be climbing over 900 next rating update! This disc fills a hole in my bag that I didn’t even know existed; it made as big an improvement on my approach game as did the Zone.

The Zone covers my forehand and hyzer line approaches, and the Invader now covers laser straight 200-foot upshots. The disc fits my hand so well that I don’t even notice the v-tech bead when throwing, and I always get a clean release. In fact, I have an aversion to beaded discs, so much so that all other discs in my bag are beadless. But for approaches, it is great to reap the benefits of the Invader’s bead: wind and torque resistance! This thing ignores the wind, flies straight without going too far, and grabs the ground with minimal skip or roll.

My putting putter is the special blend Luna, so I first picked up the Metallic Z Luna and Fierce to test as throwers. The Invader beats both as a reliably torque-resistant, line-holding throwing putter. The Luster plastic adds the durability of Champion with a little extra grip. Mine even has some nice blue swirls. Love it! One of those special discs I look forward to throwing!

This is a very impressive, overlooked disc. I strongly recommend any level player try a Star or Luster Invader. Makes a huge difference in short game confidence!

I have found the Luster Invader to be a really nice driving/approach shot disc with a healthy amount of stability. I have and throw the Innova Animal quite a bit and purchased the Invader to throw when I need a little more distance. I have found that the Invader has a little more slow speed fade at the end of its flight than the Animal, but it still has the ability to fly on the angle I throw it on that I really like about the Animal.

The Luster plastic is absolutely fantastic! I like the durability it provides but with a touch more grippy-ness and give than the Champion plastic.

I would recommend the Invader to those looking for a neutral flying throwing putter that has the stability to handle a good amount of power without turning over.

This is the perfect driving putter. The luster plastic is like an improved champion that brings improved grip and flexibility while still being extremely durable. The shape of the disc is perfect and leaves no gaps when placed in my hands. Holds all angles at any speed which is amazing. Strongly recommend picking one of them up if you're looking for a straight driving putter that you can feel confident in!

These discs are perfect for approach shots if you need it to be laser straight! I have two of them, both max weight. One in Luster Champion and one in Star. I'll use them for shots under 250 feet. I'd very strongly recommend trying one out!

Great Disc! It's a bullfrog with more glide in a better plastic. Innova hit it out of the park with this disc. it's pushes my Pure and my Atom from my bag.... I understand how you can be reading this and think this guy doesn't know what he is talking about ( maybe i don't'). but I'm telling you is is so right in between those two disc that i can get away with it by utilizing anhyzer / hyzer release angles.Big fan of this disc and think everyone should give it a try.

LOVE this disc! I've found my new workhorse. The Luster plastic feels grippy, making it VERY controllable. For short drives it holds just about ANY line well. The only thing...if you want anhyzer, intermediate and newer players may have to really commit to the anny line. Power and advanced players should have no trouble.

Putting seems to become easier with this disc. The flight numbers are spot-on, so it's easy to trust your shots. The small bead lends to control, and I'm making longer baskets as a result of the confidence I have with this disc. I RECOMMEND THIS DISC FOR EVERYONE!!!

Holy cow I love this disc! It is the disc I use on my putter drives now. I feel that it compliments my Aviar3, since it doesn't dump left as much. It is very straight, very predictable, and it can handle any of the angles I put it on. It also works well with forehands, but it tends to feel better for backhand drives. Many people gave innova heck for another putter, but ignore it and at least throw it a few times. It won't disappoint!
