The Suspect is a unique, versatile disc in the Dynamic Discs line. This is a relatively slow midrange with a small diameter. It is thin for a midrange, with a height of just 1.6cm. The Suspect is very overstable and should be great for powerful throwers and windy days. Dynamic Discs says that this disc has the best characteristics of putters and midrange discs. It’s an all-purpose mid that fits in the “tweener” slot in your bag. The Suspect was PDGA approved on March 8th, 2013. It is available in DD’s quality Clasic Blend, Lucid, and Fuzion plastic in the Eric McCabe series.

Popular disc mold, you will find a similar disc from most manufacturers; a slow mid ('speed 4') that is low glide and overstable. The Suspect is a great disc within this category and has a bit thinner profile, so it fits great in smaller hands or those who don't like a fat disc.

I find the suspect to be better off the Tee than as an approach, it seems to do better with some power. However, it definitely can be used as an approach. I see it most often approached using a flick, which I don't really have in my approach game which is probably why I mostly drive with it.

Recommended for players looking for a reliable easy to throw overstable disc off the tee fwhere you don't need a driver.

This disc is unlike any 4 speed I've thrown for a long time. I've had my current classic suspect for a little over a year and it's worked in for me to be a max 300ft throw. Once beat in it will gain a little tiny fade to it that really adds the extra 30ft.

    175 Classic

Started out as the numbers indicate with the exception that I do not believe it is a 4 speed.  It is much faster than a Harp, but I think a Harp is more of a 3 speed and the Suspect a 5 speed with minimal glide.

Backhand:  It started out as a disc that would fly dead straight and then have a very gradual fade at the very end.  They seem to have very good torque resistance for a slower straighter disc.  I would say the 3 fade rating is more a designation of its ability to resist turning over, than it is saying it will dump left at the end of a backhand.  After about 2 months it beat into a good tunnel hyzerflip disc that I can get some late turn out of.

Forehands: Even more than backhands I like to use this for touch forehands that I want to go dead straight.  It is the best forehand approach disc I have ever thrown.  I did like the Harp for a forehand approach disc, but with the deeper rim of the harp, it is more difficult to get a clean release with a forehand. The super low profile of the Suspect combined with its good stability make it the most amazing point and shoot forehand disc. After my Classic beat in a little, it became a bit too unstable to forehand with much power, but is still great for touch forehands from about 100 feet and in and skip straight foreward.  I now have a 175 Biofuzion Suspect that I use for longer forehand approaches that I need to go dead straight up to 200 feet.  I got the Biofuzion in hopes that it would retain the initial flight characteristics for longer.

In Summary:  These discs fill the role of dead straight frozen rope approaches whether backhand or forehand, perfectly when new.  When beat in, they fill the role of good tunnel hyzerflip backhands while still retaining a good amount torque resistance.  The beat in forehands are great for touch forehands that you need to skip straight forward.  I've never encountered an approach disc that had such good stability while also having such little turn or fade.

This disc in classic plastic is very OS, it has its uses but more of a utility disc in my bag.  Big open hyzer shots or if I need to get around an object.
