ESP Swirl Details

Discraft ESP Swirl is an advanced polymer plastic that is more durable than Elite-X and grippier than Elite-Z plastic with a swirly design. It is often used in special runs.

In short: very much like a Buzzz with 1 extra tick of stability.  

Not quite as overstable, and with more glide, than I expected.  I was looking for something between a longer Zone and a BuzzzOS (which I worried may be too OS).  

Still, it's been good off short tees.  I've gotten parked taking a detour around a narrow corridor of trees.  Thrown flat on an open hole, I can see it getting a good turn before fading back.  Turn and fade have been from -1/2 , to -1.5/1.5, depending on the throw. 

For me, it lands in the same slot as a brand new Z-Buzzz I had, or an Ethos Pathfinder, except with a slight turn and slightly more fade. 

While it's not as stable as I wished, those other 2 are on the way out and this is a good replacement for both.  I plan on trying the Z-Wasp once this one is broken in.  Love the ESP-Swirl plastic.  Mine is the 2023 Ledgestone edition, love the bug stamp.
