The Yao is the midrange that I was looking for. I find it to be a bit longer and less stable than the flight chart would indicate.

The profile is like a truth, but a litle sharper and not quite as deep, and the smaller diameter makes it a little easier for me to grip. If you like Rocs but don't love beads, or lament that you can only find Champ ones during the USDGC runs, than this is the disc for you.

It is maybe not the most intuitive, but is incrediby predictable so though you might struggle to find anyhyzer lines or hyzerflips until it beats in, you can count on it to go about 250-275 and fade hooking until it has gone about 275-320 depending on your power.

Hit my first ace with a Yao!

I really like the Yao. It's my favorite of the Yikun discs I've tested. My Yao is a little less stable than this flight chart indicates, and really seems to be faster than a speed 4. With a good rip, I get some high speed turn before the end of flight fade. The Yao is stable enough that I've never turned it over, but it will veer right on me a little bit and give me some really good distance for a mid. While the plastic looks like Z, I don't think it's quite as durable. My YAO has a few fairly significant scuffs from hitting concrete. If you're looking for a premium mostly striaght flying midrange, and don't want to spend premium price, the YAO is solid. Not to mention, this disc has a pretty sweet stamp too.
