The Wei is an ultra-understable moderately high-speed distance driver from Yikun. It has an understable flight pattern that is similar to the Gou. It features a nice, predictable fade at the end of its flight, affording great distance to both new and experienced players with its wide rim and great glide. For disc golfers who loved the no-longer-available Vibram unLace, this is a great substitute.

First off, I really like Yikun's Phoenix plastic -- the feel, the clean release, and the apparent durability of it relative to some other grades I have; also the bright colors help make the discs stand out in whatever setting they land. This has more of a domed profile than a lot of discs I had used before, but I get good distance with it. It is better for me with little wind (nice S-curve) or a tailwind (still some S-curves, or straight shots); if you get much of a headwind -- even one that I could hardly feel from the tee -- it can quickly start to veer right (RHBH) and just keep going diagonally that way. The glide can therefore be helpful if you've got it going the right direction, or leave you pin high, but well off to the side of the basket or even in the rough. It is passable for beginners, though it may work better as something to advance to after starting with some discs that are a bit slower and/or less stable. I recently did 2+ rounds at a 27-hole course, and on some holes with tailwinds I was not getting the results I wanted with my more stable drivers -- either hitting trees, fading out too far left, or having to throw too far to the right to get around the trees. I switched to the Wei and got just what I needed on a couple of those same holes: straight shot toward the trees but with enough turn at that point to veer a bit right, skirt around them, and then fade back to slide nicely into the bullseye! Gotta have discs like that in the bag!

Trick shot disc for the advanced -> pro arm. This disc is EXTREMELY flippy. The type of shots it's good for: starting on a hyzer flip line that turns into a roller, throwing severely uphill and still getting turnover, grenades that flip to flat, skamahawks, and getting glide from no-power scramble shots.

Well dang!  This disk has moves that require throw control and some power.  (Seems more that 2.5 turn. Gave it  4  stars because this, not because it's a bad disc) Useful moves if you can make it work for you.        NOT A NEWBIE DISC.    Shoot, some days I don't have what it takes to throw it. Occasionally I am up to snuff and it does the intended magic. Had a mid-range disc in the late 90's with the similar turn and fade,  made some stunning shot with it.  Think this will be the same way.

So this is a definitely less understable disc than it claims to be, the disc is even printed with different numbers than the website lists it at, it is not a -5 turn, and doesn't function like one either; I purchased this discs in hopes that it was that understable to see how it would work with my wild style of throwing. It works to a point but I kind of hope the webmaster changes the numbers to appropriately match the discs numbers at -2.5 turn. I like the disc and it's still in my bag, but I get better work out of my Gou, still really like yikun plastic and will buy more. Just be wary for the next purchaser of this disc it is more stable than it claims.

I like this disc for its particular shots but out of the box it flew pretty stable for me considering the numbers I didn't even expect it to have that "new disc stability" but after I used it and got it beat in a little bit it became more understable with time. I gave it a four just because I wanted it to be a little more undertstable brand new like a td2 or some heats

This disc is very dome-y. It made the grip a little awkward for me. The plastic is Star-ish and slick. I found it to definitely be under stable. I purchased the Gou also and felt like this disc was way more under stable than it. Probably won't make my bag. I've got disc that fly similar that feel more comfortable.
