The Stratosphere is a slightly understable driver that lands right between a fairway and a distance driver. It's a great option for recreational players who want great distance results while throwing a disc that doesn't need a lot of speed. For experienced players, it will provide plenty of turn before finishing with a slight fade.

I've been all in on the Stratosphere for a long while now.   It's really the only true niche brand disc I own and I have severl backups of.

I love this disc because it feels like what good runs of Discraft ESP plastic should feel like.   Slightly soft and tacky, but firm and holds shape.   Shallow rim for my smaller hands fits perfectly and this disc just does the flip so well.  I know what its going to do, I know where its going to go and for a noodle arm like mine, its predictable flight path still exceeds distance expectations on a regular basis.   Would reccomend for beginers or for seasoned players looking for a predictable fairway driver that is malleable and can fit any shape you need it to.

Found it to be more understable than I thought. Even throwing it on Hyzer, it always flips over and sometimes fades back

I've been playing for a couple years and I was looking for an understable driver to work on my hyper flips. This disc ended up being perfect! My max arm speed is probably around an 11, so this disc has been great for hyper flips and long turnover shots. And if I take a little bit off of it, I can get a super straight flight with a reliable fade. I probably wouldn't recommend it for people just starting out but definitely a great disc for intermediate players!

Such a good disc! Much like others are saying, this does feel like a faster Leopard. Especially for beginners wanting to get into higher speed discs, this will be the disc that you learn to throw hyzer flip to straight. Really nice understability out of the box, but it has enough stability to flight out of the turn at the end. Definitely flippy, but not too flippy to be useless, at least for someone like me who throws about 280-300' on average with a backhand. I do end up getting just a little more distance than normal with this disc, about 300-330'!

I'm mainly a forehand player, but I throw this disc predominantly backhand. It doesn't have enough tourque resistance to hold up to a hyzer flip forehand. I feel like my backahand game has benefitted from a disc like this, where I can put it on some hyzer and have it flip, turn, and come back.

The plastic looks and feels good and grippy even though it's a premium plastic. I would compare it to something like an Innova Star plastic. It has a pretty sharp edge for a 9 speed driver, but it definitely doesn't have a big rim, as I have smaller hands and it fits very comfortably in them.

Love this disc. I bought one, threw it for one round, and instantly bought another because I knew I had found something great.

If you ever wanted to see what a Leopard 3 would look like when it grows up, now's your chance. I have found that it throws true to its flight rating and if you back off the power a bit, you can flip it and it will go and go.....

I regularly bag this disc and have bought 2 more for backup. I highly recommend it to those people who don't have big arms but want to get some distance.

A faster leapard. It turns most if it's flight and can flatten out with enough hyzer and height. Comparable to an F5, Avenger SS or Valkyrie. Glides well and flights are consistent. Easy turnover distance or hyzer flips.

This disc is great. Very comfortable in the hand and I can always expect some turn out of it. I don't have the best backhand out there, but I can rely on this heading right on a straight low shot and come out softly at the end. Plastic feels good and has held up after a few months of throwing.

This is probably my favorite disc in the bag.  The lift plastic is very satisfying in the hand, and is quite resilient. I've been bagging the same one for over a year now and I would say it's flight path hasn't changed much since I started throwing it.  My local shop gets a few in every once in a while an I snag at least one each time as a replacement for when my current one eventually gets too flippy.

For anyone that is new and/or still developing technique around the 300' range (or trying to break the 300' wall), this discs is an amazing.

I have bagged this for the 2022 year and it will stay in the bag for 2023.

This discs has become a staple in my bag and has been with me as I grow with the sport as well (2 years playing Dec. 2022). Off the shelf, it was an instant bag that for my arm speed and distance (at that time bout 250 Avg. - 275 Max. when I first started bagging it) and it flew stable with a little bit of turn and a nice fade.

After 2022 (about 300 Avg. - 330/350 Max) it has a decent amount of turn with a gentle fade. Thrown on a slight to medium hyzer, will flip to flat and cruises straight. Thrown flat it will turn pretty hard and fight back with a gentle fade. Thrown on anything more than a slight anhyzer and it is moving into a roller position.

For anyone new, developing technique, or has a slower arm speed, around 300', I would absolutely recommend this discs to. It reminds me of the easy to throw line discs (which I used to throw) but to me a better feeling plastic and in hand feel. As well as much easier to control.

1/2023 Edit: Just ordered a another Stratosphere and I believe it is a newer run. Got a chance to throw it today and it is has a fantastic flight as stated above in the original review. A little more stable off the shelf than my original Strats but am super excited about it. After it gets worked in a bit should hopefully settle in a little bit less stable than where my original Stratospheres were off the shelf. The plastic feels and looks better in hand to me than my originals as well. Lastly the crazy flashing that was on my 1st Strats wasn't present on the newer one I received.

We received this disc as test disc from Team Infinite members and it instantly took a spot in my bag held by a Lat 64 Fury.  The disc is very easy to put on a anny and have it hold that flight and finish right. When thrown flat it still turns easy and finishes very straight.  I can also throw it on a Hzyer Flip for wood shots.  The plastic is feels really nice even when it gets cold

I picked this one up because I was curious about the company, and have space in my bag for an understandable fairway. I was a little disappointed when it first arrived (and before I threw it), because the flashing was sharp to the hand and not comfortable. It was much better after a bit of sandpaper cleanup.

After just a couple of rounds with it, I've decided to bag it. The flight numbers are accurate. Thrown flat with my arm, the initial turn isn't too dramatic and I am not worried about flipping it. It finishes with a gentle fade. I threw into a bit of headwind, which did increase the turn (as expected). It did, however, continue to push forward and finished with a fade, which suggests the 4 glide is true.

I got this disc as a mystery disc on Infinite, and it is now in my top 3 favorite discs I have thrown. Buying another one now because lost the first white one in snow during a tournament. It is a predictable turner to the right as a back-hand only player, but reliably finishes left. I am able to use this disc well enough now that it makes practicing my forehand that much less necessary. For me, it flies really true to its numbers, although I did think it was a 7 speed instead of 9 and probably got more confidence with that. I use this more as a common utility disc instead of a common go-to, but love it nonetheless!

I'm a noodle arm forehander. I picked one of these up in the used bin at PIAS because it was so beautiful and ended up loving it. It's one of the few discs I can get great distance with aaaand end up to the left. Sadly I lost it in some water and immediately ordered 2 more. All 3 are very different aesthetics but all are great. I would have assumed this was a Thoughtspace disc because of the great art and stamp, but even better plastic.

What a delightful fairway driver! This thing has a ton of glide and a really smooth flight path. It likes to turn really big at high speeds and has a smooth fade at the end. It can go really far, but I like to use it for those 300' s-curve shots in the woods. I don't have to throw it very hard to get those results.

for beginners, this is a great introductory disc to drivers and fairway drivers. And the plastic feels really good in the hand.

This is a great disc with lots of potentials!!  I have about 350 or 380 ft of power.  I think this disc will work great for turnover or hyzer flip shots. So, far I've only used it for anhyzer lines and have had great results.  I haven't tested it out very thoroughly yet, but I look forward to using it more.

Feel: the plastic is great, reminds me of DDs Fuzion or Latitudes gold line, fairly stiff but good grip.  I have smaller hands, and the 9-speed rim fits really nice in my hand.

    Overall a really nice disk.

For reference, I throw a bit over 400 on max distance at the moment.

Possibly my favorite disc. Received it in a mystery box, and it made the whole box worth it. Takes a little bit to get used to it, but once you do it has the most beautiful flights. The plastic feels amazing, the stamp looks amazing, and the disc itself has a really nice domey feeling.

Flight-wise, I think the best way to describe it is that it does what I imagine it should do. Thrown at lower speeds, if thrown flat it will stay flat and drift a bit left at the end. Thrown anhyzer it will keep drifting very slowly right, and just manage to finish left as it comes down. If you put a bit more power on it, hyzer flips are very easy, and thrown flat gives it a beautiful kind of almost flex shot. Soars right, but maintains its height and doesn't dump into the ground like a lot of understable drives seem to want to once they flip over. Has just enough finish left when it starts running out of speed to keep it controllable.

I got this disc on the Focus Friday deal. Very nice looking disc. Its starting to become my go to hammer disc as it turns over nicely and has a good slide on the ground at the end. This disc will definitely help me practice my backhand throws as I primarily throw forehand. Overall, I would recommend this disc to beginners for their first premium plastic disc.

Numbers seem about right. Very understable out of the box and has a comfy dome. Got this to replace my Mantra as it has the same flight numbers, but this is definitely more understable.

Plastic feels good. Not my favorite, but feels good.

Bought one of these when they first released and really enjoy it.

The finish is a touch less than what I’d like but ultimately, this disc feels soft in my hand and throws like a dream. I’ve only had a couple rounds in with it but as a fairway driver on more open courses, I’m reaching for it more and more.  I'd put the fade a little higher but I also don't have massive arm speed or strength.  Don't let my three stars fool you.  I think they have a solid start to a company.  The plastic has a great feel and the disc itself is solid.  The flashing and finish issues seem easy to shore up and I think they've got a winner if they do.  Would love to see what they can do for a neutral midrange to compliment this disc as I think for more open courses, this could be a great combo.

Stamp is awesome and love the backstory on the owners. I sincerely hope they got their students involved with development because that would have been an AWESOME science class to take!

Okay, this is a bummer, but the flashing on the disc I received is just not okay. At least a millimeter or two around the whole disc.
if this was 1998 and your local store only had these, then, no problem just grab a razor and clean it up.

But, with so many companies making incredible discs AND those discs shipping in perfect condition, this disc and company are a skip for me from now on because they don't meet the minimum quality control expected in the market right now.

picked this disc up ad i love the Innova Lepord and i was hyped for something that would fly a bit farther

Pros: plastic has a great feel, when hit right full flight looks great

Cons: the flight numbers can be a bit off with how understable the disc can fly depending on the run(i have two and one is more stable than the other)

Overall this is a good step up for beginners that want to throw a faster disc but don't have any or just a poor form

This is a solid control driver. The plastic feels grippy and the disc isn't super rigid. It's slightly understable, so a bit of hyzer in the release and it'll flip up and give a nice easy S-flight. This would be a good disc for beginners learning form.

I would say this disc is FAIRLY accurate to the numbers listed. I got mine in the VIP stamping and this thing just goes. I have used it for quite a few rounds and it is definitely getting a bit more Flippy but just send it on a nice 75% toss an the most minimal hyzer and it will flip up and glide for days with a nice gradual turn and slight finish at the end. I use it all the time when I need a RHBH alleyway shot and it gets me about 300 ft. I would love to see this made in a other plastic that might last longer and more true to when I first got it.

Cons: mine had a flashing on it which made it feel off but after some time I got used to it. The Initial smell of the disc was putrid so I sprayed it with cologne as it made it smell putridly (is that even a word?) fresh!
