The Westside Discs Sling is the midrange disc of the 2016 Trilogy Challenge. The disc was released initially in Tournament plastic and later in the year in VIP plastic. It is a very straight flyer, that leans to the slightly understable side.  It will hold any line you put it on, which makes it a great all-purpose disc!

This is a great disc. I love Westside, and this was the disc that made me love them. I like the VIP plastic, it's a little more grippy than the Tournament plastic. This is a straight flier. Mine is a 180g. It's a tank. Great for those throws that may hit a little branch or two. Plows through stuff well. Great glide. I feel like I need to throw it very flat, but it will go straight, which is a good thing.

This is an easy throwing, point and shoot mid. Not a lot of fade, and turn only when torqued. Nice flier, almost aced with it in my first round out with it. A shorter version of the Warship in terms of where it might fit in one's bag. Very good approach disc.

The rating on this site for this disc is wrong.  Westside rates it as 5 5 0 1. Which honestly is what it feels like.  I have a fairly new disc and I can rip on it and it just goes dead straight with a mild fade at the end.  It honestly feels to be right between a Emac Truth and Truth.

I really enjoy a perfect shot with the Sling- it just feel so right coming out of my hand. It's lip isn't comfortable for me forehand, so I exclusively use this for RHBH.

I've tested varied angles of release and disc angles and I'm confident you can get some great shots on any line. Because it has so much glide, it doesn't do too well if you throw it really high, but it also doesn't have enough fade to make it catastrophic- you'll know where it lands based on its flight path really easy. I prefer straight and hyzer lines.

Great disc for beginners that can throw a bunch of hyzers and not get defeated like when using crazy-fading fast drivers. Great lip feel
