I have not found a better putting putter, and I have tried most of them. Similar in hand to the judge, but with a less rounded nose, and slightly glidier flight. This is a stable putting putter that will reliably hookup in flight. It's flat topped, has excellent grip (my favorite is BT Medium). I use it for some short approach shots as well where it it excels.

As a throwing putter, it is fairly straight. A little deep for my preference (check out the Infinite Discs Tomb if you want a low profile throwingn putter) for full throws, but no putter has found the basket better for me over the years on the putting green.

My main putter now. The grip is amazing in the bt medium plastic. Flies pretty straight and true to the numbers.

edit 11/2/2020 - After 2 months of use I've gotten very comfortable with this disc. The glide is definitely not a 4. I would 100% say that this is more of a glide 3 when putting.

Although I've loved using this disk over my time playing, I still recommend the pilot as a putter to use for any situation.

Although I really enjoyed how straight distance could fly, the seal was very unique but very comfortable, simply because it seem to be a lot deeper disc via the rim than most I've used. Whenever you throw it it throws nice and straight with a little fade, Although I would say it has a 2 for the fade versus then 1 it states. I can drive this straight with a decent amount of fade after it reaches 300ft. Overall a great, durable, and long-lasting disc, but I feel if you're not quite liking this I would definitely recommend the Pilot from streamline via neutron plastic.

Great straight flying putter, perfect for a spin put and when thrown off the tee the fade is late but steady. It's a bit stable to be a great push putter, and the bead is bigger than some people would like, but it's pretty easy to point and shoot with this disc.

One of my favorite throwing putters. In BT Medium, it keeps it's stability for a long time and is very consistent in its flight. Super straight when it beats in a little. Not the best putting putter to me, but an excellent thrower. This thing is MONEY for any shot up to 250 - hold its line incredibly well.

This will be the only putter I ever use. I had been putting with Swans a couple of years ago, then these bad boys came out, and realizing I needed more stability in my putt, I picked some up. The Crown is exactly what I needed: Stable beaded putter that flies with a lot of glide, relatively no turn over (unless you mash it), and surprisingly, some slight fade. This disc flies point and shoot style, and if I miss short, it is because I didn't trust the disc enough. The Crown truly is a regal putter and will allow you stand amongst disc golf royalty, if you learn to utilize it. Utilizing its stability and great glide, the Crown allows players to putt with confidence when facing big putts.

The Crown was my main putter for several months. I have a 175g in BT medium. I really like the feel of this putter because of it's flat top and big bead. It feels deeper to me than the Judge, but the measurements between the 2 are very close, if not similar. Out of all the medium type plastics out there I would have to say the BT medium is my most favorite. I used the Crown mainly for putting, but also some upshots too. I liked the overstability of this putter as it handled the wind well for putting in breezy conditions. However, in real windy conditions I reached for the Sinus. The one thing I noticed is how much glide the Crown has. Recently I switched to using the Judge over the Crown. Mostly because I could hit more putts outside the circle with the Judge because it is less stable than the Crown. I was more accurate as it has less fade from a distance for me. I still bag the Crown for straighter upshots in breezy conditions.

I really like this disc. When thrown flat it flies completely straight with the slightest amount of glide to the right when thrown RHBH. Inside 200' the Crown is great when you have a clear path to the basket and want to just put it right on a line there with very little fade. The only complaint I have about this disc was in the BT Medium plastic, it warped very easily. Now, I did hit some trees with it and it was kept in the trunk of my car during the summer months, both of which I'm sure were factors in the warping. But, I also keep all of my other discs in my trunk and I hit trees all the time, and none of my other discs were as warped. I ended up giving my crown to a friend who was new to the sport and plan on picking up a new one in VIP plastic which I've found is much more durable.

2017 "Trilogy" putter of the year, despite all the hype around the Dynamic Discs Deputy.

This disc is a really great, straight flying beaded putter. It throws well, putts well and has a Crown to show everyone you're King(or Queen).

As a putter, it's very straight with minimal fade and comes out of the hand nicely because it isn't a deep dish like some of the other popular molds out there. As a driver, it's a very neutral flying disc that, with wear on it, will start to slowly fall off to the right(right handed) but not be "flippy". Give it a touch of hyzer and watch it fly laser straight. People ask me all the time...what disc was that?! How did it fly so straight?!

I started using this as my main putter as soon as Westside sent them out to me but have recently gone back to using my trusty BT Medium Shields and only use the Crown for driving purposes(also in BT Medium).

This is a very suitable disc for any player and I highly recommend it or maybe the Shield too. ;)

The best putter I've ever put in my hands! It has an amazing feel, and it seems to hold the line you put it on. Multiple times I've handed a Crown to someone who has never tried them before, and they smash a putt with it. In my opinion, the most important aspect of a putting putter is how it feels in your hands. Get your hands on a Crown, and see if its right for you. As a thrower, it'll hold lines, allowing for fun shot shapes, and getting through tight tunnels.

I actually have tried the hard, medium and soft editions of the crown. All are max weight.

After some experimenting, I feel that the medium version is best for putting, the soft version is great for upshots and shorter midrange shots, and the hard version (my least favorite) I have been using as a driving putter.

The Crown in general has a nice glide for a putter. It may or may not end up being my go-to putter, but I can see it staying in the bag as a deadly upshot or short midrange disc.

I'm seeing quite a few players already throwing the Crown. It's definitely my favorite Westside putter.

    The Westside Wizard

The Gateway Wizard is the best putter of all-time, in my personal opinion. The Wizard was very much an improvement over the KC Aviar from Innova. Since then, everyone has been trying to make the next Wizard. While DD fans will tell you that the Judge is that disc, I disagree. The Crown from Westside could very well be the disc that has come the closest to replicating the Wizard, but not improving upon it.

I found the Crown to be comfortable to grip in both a power grip and my modified fan-putter grip. As a spin putter who has putted with Wizards for years, the Crown was very easy for me to putt with at most distances. On drives, it requires height and a small degree of hyzer and it will fly a very long ways. If you aren't used to driving with putters, the distance potential of the Crown might just surprise you. Holds up well into the wind on a hard spin putt; not so much on drives. Upshots like a dream.

Is the Crown better than a Wizard? Absolutley not. Is it close? Yep.

The Crown is a great putter. It isn't a disc that it breaking new ground. It isn't a putter that has no equal. But it is a very good putter, and probably the best from Westside Discs so far. I'm a fan of beaded putters, so it already felt "right" to me. In fact, it felt a lot to me like a Wizard or a Judge, which are both very popular, top-selling putters. If you're a Westside fan and have been waiting for the Westside equivalent of a Wizard, then this is likely the putter you've been wanting.

I could putt quite accurately with the Crown, and it has nice glide. It is also a great disc for short games, like navigating through more thickly wooded courses, where you need short, precision shots. The Crown can hold a line very well if you don't try to put too much heat on it. Just get your wrist-snap right and the Crown will fly straight and true with only gentle end-of-flight fades. You can anhyzer it a little bit, or toss it on a hyzer angle for manageable curves.

I believe that within a few short months of its 2017 release date, The Crown will prove to be a steadily selling putter and will earn its way into many bags as a go-to, general use putter.

Definately agree with the sneaky disc comment. The glide holds the disc as high or low off the ground as you want. Tunnel shot through tight trees that look impossible are possible the disc will hold.

Been making crazy long puts with this guy, def a good driving putter just use more spin than arm and it's going dead straight. Can be turned over, but doesn't have to be with how much glide it has you really can just softly throw this with decent spin and it's gone

Need this in mega soft then it will be insane

I got the chance to test out a BT Medium Crown the other day. Overall, I was very impressed and happy with this disc. I think it is a fantastic addition to the Westside Discs lineup, and I believe it will even make a splash for the entire Trilogy lineup.

So for those who have read my reviews before, you know that I love the Gateway Wizard. It has been my putter for a long time. I love everything about it. Well, the Crown I think is a great compliment to the Wizard, and fit well as I practiced with both.

The Crown has a very comfortable rim that fits perfectly in my hand. I like the large bead, and it is a good depth. If you like shallow putters, this probably isn't for you. But for the rest of us, it feels great! As always, the BT plastic blends from Trilogy feel great and are perfect for putting as well.

The actual flight was fantastic. It seemed to glide so well, and like I mentioned, it fit really well with my Wizards. The Crown might have been just slightly more straight with a little less fade at the end of the flight.

This is a great all around putter that I think any new player could build their game around. And I think it is a putter that more experience players should have no problem switching to.

I always try to think about what discs I would use if I only threw one brand. I like the Shield, but if I were to switch to all Westside I think I would have to putt with the Crown. And if I were to just expand to the Trilogy lineup, I'd have to try a few of them, but there is a good chance I would also end up with the Crown. It is definitely a great disc that everyone should at least try.

After playing two rounds with the Westside Crown putter, I am sold. This is a fantastic disc and by far my favorite Westside putter and has just the right feel to give me a clean release and confidence to make my putts. I hit four outside the circle putts with the crown during my rounds today and as well as several others just inside the circle.

The Crown has a nice big bead on it which provides a comfortable place to rest my index finger. It is mostly flat on top, which I like. I hold my thumb very near the edge of the rim when I putt, and so don't like putters that have a gradual slope. The curvature on the Crown is just right. This is a thick, deep putter, but not quite as dep as the Dagger. It feels somewhat like the Shield, but isn't quite as overstable which makes it work better for me on the long, slow, lofty putts. While the PDGA dimensions of the Crown say it's the same height as the Dynamic Discs Judge, but to me it feels deeper.

This definitely isn't the glidiest putter which is better for putting in windy conditions.

Like always, BT Medium is a just right plastic blend for putting in my opinion, it's not too soft and not too hard. Perfect for putting. This plastic and disc are great for anhyzer approach shots with a quick flip of the wrist.

For a driving putter, the Crown is very adequate as well. There isn't much to say about it's flight other than it flies like a putter with 3/4/0/1 flight ratings. I typically prefer thin profile putters for driving, and the Crown definitely didn't feel too thick that I had trouble with a clean release. If I were to use the Crown primarily driving, I'd probalby get it in Hard plastic or wait for it to come out in a premium blend.
