As an overstable, but not too overstable disc, the Boatman makes a good forehand driver for intermediate players looking for distance. This is a fast disc with virtually no turn and moderate low-speed fade.

    Tournament Recycled Muovi Details

Westside Tournament Muovi R (Recycled Plastic) is the equivalent of Dynamic Discs and Latitude 64 Recyled plastic. This plastic feels very similar to traditional Tournament, but being that it's made from recycled materials, is not quite as durable.

Tournament Recycled plastic is a one time limited release. The discs we have were overruns from those produced for stores in Europe.

I got the Boatman a couple years ago and it is a fantastic flyer. Unlike some Westside distance drivers, the Boatman is very true to its numbers. For me, the Boatman often out drives some of the higher speed drivers I have. It is very controllable with moderate to high arm speed. Like most discs, when thrown with lower arm speed the fade feels slightly higher, hence my addition as I have low-moderate arm speed.

I normally throw RHBH but flick throwers would also love the Boatman. It is ultra reliable and has a consistent flight path. I have personally thrown it a few times this way and have gotten solid results every time. I am often surprised at the glide that disc gets. While in the air, I never think the glide is overly impressive. Then when I get to the disc I am shocked at how much farther it flew than what I believed. You may not notice a lot of glide but trust me; it's there!

The plastic is awesome! I love Trilogy plastics. The Recycled plastics I have are always just tacky enough for me. I do not like ultra tacky discs. The Boatman in particular releases comfortably.

I would throw my Boatman much more but I bought a gray one!

This disc is one of my favorite drivers. The disc flies well on a hyzer and just goes. When thrown flat this disc will turn slightly before fading out. The disc is very easy to control and flies pretty much the same line every time.
