The Odin is an overstable, high-speed distance driver. This distance driver provides sufficient stability to handle power and maintain its course. This will fly straight and exhibit a little turn right before it fades out for the finish.

Armor plastic from Viking Discs is a durable, yet very comfortable, opaque plastic blend that is very similar to Star from Innova, or Gold Line from Latitude 64. It is a top-notch plastic blend especially for drivers -- able to take a beating and keep performing.

The Odin in Armor plastic is one of my favorites in my Viking disc collection.  The Armor plastic has the perfect amount of grip in most conditions and is extremely durable.  The disc has a nice edge on the underside of the disc that allows for a comfortable grip and a fair amount of ground play.  The flight numbers are very accurate for this disc and play true for both BH and FH throws.

You can release this disc on multiple release angles for expected results:

Anhyzer Line - Throw if you are trying to maximize the distance on this disc; like most anhyzer lines, the landing area will become more unpredictable but a ton of fun to throw with this disc.  You will also get a reliable fade towards the end of the discs flight

Hyzer Line- The disc may flip to flat or stay on a hyzer angle for a majority of its flight.  When throwing the hyzer line you will maximize ground play unless you get more of a hyzer spike which I have not yet seen with this disc.

Flat Release - The disc may tern out of your hand but will dump into a hyzer angle later in it's flight.

This disc is very comparable to an Innova Star or Champion Destroyer, Latitude Opto Havoc, or Dynamic Lucid Trespass.

Because this is a speed 12 and somewhat overstable, it's probably not a great disc for beginners.

For all other skill levels, this disc is a must have in your Viking collection!

Due to higher speed than I can normally throw, for backhand would turn too early.

However, tried a forehand throw and was impressed with distance and throwing ease. Will keep in my bag for narrow areas. Plastic in hand feels comfortable.

Solid Disc that has quite a bit of carry.  If it comes out of your hand at the proper arm speed it will fly great.

Throwing Ground plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

The Odin is a pretty good distance driver, very consistent.

I find that this is a an "easy" disc to throw considering the speed rating and the overstability of the disc. Meaning, I expected this to act more like an overstable destroyer. However, right off the bat, this flew more like a stable destroyer, it flew pretty straight with little turn and then faded hard. I was able to get to hold a slight anhyzer for about a third of the flight and before it flattened completely. This probably has to do with the fact that I'm throwing a Ground Plastic Odin.

Overall, I've enjoyed throwing this disc, it is definitely worth giving it a shot. I'm excited to see how this beats in, and what flight it offers at that point.
