This is fill a hole in my bag for sure. That plastic feels premium, and the cost was very reasonable, follow the flight path nicely when released correctly.

The Berserker in armor plastic is one of the most under-stable discs I have ever thrown!  I attempted to release the disc flat with full power and the disc immediately started to flip on an anhyzer line; after 175-200 ft in the air the disc hit the ground and cut rolled.  After the initial test flight I have come to realize this disc has great potential for a hyzer flips since the disc consistently wants to turn out of your hand.  You will be surprised by the discs late turn if you get the hyzer flip release angle just right.  I have not yet seen a reliable fade from this disc that a typical fade 2 disc would have; to counter this I have been able to give the shot more height and occasionally see a bit of a fade as the disc makes its way to the ground.  I would imagine this disc has roller potential but have yet to attempt.

The armor plastic is extremely durable (Which is a good thing for this disc because you will not want it to get any more under-stable) and is great for cold weather conditions when you are looking to get a little extra grip on your disc.  Similar to Star or G-Star plastic I would not recommend throwing this disc in wet conditions.

If you are a beginner or if you are capable of holding back your arm speed I would imagine you might see a straighter flight with a more reliable fade.

Beginners looking for more distance - this is the disc for you!  This disc has extra glide and will carry through the air forever!

The berserker in armor plastic is extremely flippy if thrown with power beyond what an average beginner has. It could be used as a reliable roller disc. I have yet to try the disc in storm plastic but hope it is more stable.

I got the Berserker in armor plastic and 170 grams as a mystery disc with my last order from Infinite Discs. Before I ever threw it on the course, I was impressed by the durability and feel of the armor plastic. It's kind of like a beefed-up version of Innova's G-Star plastic.

I have been pleasantly surprised by this disc. In the past, I have found that the flight numbers of discs from lesser-known brands are usually egregiously inaccurate. However, the Berserker's flight numbers were pretty spot on. From my very first shot, I knew this disc would stay in the bag. When thrown with a standard hyzer release (RHBH), the Berserker will flip up to flat and fly straight for a considerable distance before slightly fading to the left. It flies like an Avenger SS with slightly more fade. I was especially impressed by the distance when thrown with a tailwind. This disc will glide for days.

So if you're looking for a disc for tight tunnel shots, or you just want a disc that will give you easy distance with a hyzer filp, pick up a Berserker. You won't regret it.

The Viking Discs Berserker is a speed 10 fairway driver that somehow manages to make the most out of the three categories that characterize a discs flight. The first category, obviously, is glide. The rating is at a 5 from the manufacturer, but a six from me. I don't know whether its the dome-y roof of the disc, the rim, or whatever, but this thing loves to fly. Even with a relatively weaker throw the final third of the flight path looks very similar to the end of a big toss with a distance driver, with that resistance to coming back to earth really rearing its head. It retains it's speed, too. That's something I would need a physics major to explain, but somehow the Berserker can manage an above average skip even after a flexing anhyzer shot. The turn is rated by Viking at -3, which for all intents and purposes is accurate. The problem we face here is that it seems that with understable discs, the flight rating quickly and drastically changes based on the velocity of the player. As far as the turn that I may have eluded to goes, Viking says that a professional will likely see the last two stats altered to characteristics more resembling a -4, 1 for turn and fade respectively. If you get an armful of this disc, they're right. That works great if you have a big tailwind behind you, as it really will eat up a massive chunk of distance and finish mildly, and accurately. As it is an understable driver at the top of the fairway or control range, it would probably make a good roller disc. I don't throw many rollers and honestly I haven't attempted one with this mold. The one thing I bet you didn't think this disc could do is be finessed into a headwind. Right. The fade of 2 for a more mild throw does mean the disc is looking to finish left on a RHBH toss, and that fade is JUST present enough to keep her on that line. Obviously, I would recommend that you would use a different disc, probably the Valhalla or Thor if you were fighting a big headwind, but it can be done if one need's an accurate headwind shot that I can't necessarily bomb with all of one's might. For those situations, it is the disc I reach for. In fact, I find myself reaching for this disc quite a bit as it's flight is forgiving enough to really allow you to shape a wide variety of shots. That fade really will bring it back, though. For slower players, you can expect a finish that lands dead straight in front of you, or something that at least attempts to finish straight if you can get the most out of the pro ratings Viking has given you. Normally I would say this disc would be very beginner friendly, but if you are newer to the game, I would get a Cosmos, which is much better for learning how to shape shots while maintaining the characteristics of Fairway and Control drivers. Again, I am very impressed with Viking Discs, and I will continue to pack my bag full of these awesome discs.

PROS: Great under stable, top of the food chain control driver. The most well rounded disc I have in my bag, and probably the most well rounded disc I have ever thrown.

CONS: Despite the statistics, not necessarily beginner friendly. But that's okay! This isn't necessarily a bad thing.

This is my go to for longer anhyzer shots.

Thrown on a backand high anhyszer it will provide a long curve, flexing out to a predicatble fade at the end.

Thrown flat and (for me) at 90% power it will give a reasonable turn and will fade for the perfect S turn.

I even use the disc for some forehand shots when I want the disc to provide a long turn.

It's probably good for rollers too, although I don't utilize this disc for rollers often.

It has been incredibly useful in the woods, although I don't use it often for open courses.

Unless you throw with poor form or try to muscle it flat, it won't turn and burn on you.

I'd recommend it, and like the storm plastic, although I hate the dark blue color. I'd appreciate a brighter color being offered, as this disc can be hard to find in the shade. Prefer the pinks and bright purples most of the time.

I really like this disc. It is very understable but it filled a spot in my bag. It turns more like a -4 but given enough room it slowly comes out of the turn for some fade.

It's ok I guess. Definitely more understable than it looks. It stays in the bag though because it does have use as a utility disc. I use it primarily for rollers, and sometimes big tailwind wind drives (but still have to release hyzer to prevent it from turning or rolling). In reality I don't use it much, but it comes in handy sometimes.

Rating wise I put -5 turn, but in reality it turns into a roller at about the -2 point. Just wanted to express how understable it is.

I won this disc on an Infinite Disc giveaway (thanks guys).  If you release it flat with moderate speed it will fly really straight with a nice fade.  Im not a very powerful thrower (250 on most drives) but I get extra distance with the Berserker pushing me out to 300 or so.  It also holds a hyzer line almost too well.
