The Ascent is one of two fairway drivers Vibram currently makes. The Ascent is an overstable driver, good for headwind throws and strategic fades. It has a very slight turn and substantial fade. According to Vibram, if you can throw this disc 56 miles per hour it should turn 4 degrees and then fade back 15 degrees. Like all Vibram discs, the Ascent is made out of quality, durable rubber. There are two variations: X-Link, and X-Link firm. Like the name says, the firm rubber is a little stiffer.

Let me start by saying this disc is different. Mine must be special because vibram did NOT put numbers on the back like my other ones it is also the xlink soft.. Anyways mine acts a little more understable then the numbers on here wkuld suggest. I throw this just as fad as my distance drivers and can be very accurate with it. Does good in windy conditions too. This plastic seems to be indestructable. If you dont already have one get one.

Floppy soft driver will always have a spot in my bag. Dependable fade without skipping in the soft plastic.  Like other soft discs mine got a bit warped in a hot summer trunk, but bounced back after a few rounds.
