Great beginner disc, but also a great disc for seasoned players. Throw the Mantra on a slight hyzer watch it flip up and hold a straight line with a gentle fade at the end.

What a cool disc. I'll admit that the stamp is what first attracted me but I also needed a slightly understable 9 speed driver. I had been using a Prodigy H5 for this role but found that it was getting to be too understable and unpredictable, especially in the wind. This disc has similar numbers with less turn. I have a beat up old Valkyrie that I found and the Mantra seems to be similar although I don't typically throw the Valkyrie much. I don't have the highest arm speed and a 9 speed driver is in the zone for me. This disc flies very straight out of the hand with a hint of understability and a slight fade at the end. Also flies equally well upwind and downwind for me. Since I'm playing at 5000' of elevation, I don't get as much turn or glide as those at lower elevations so this is more of a straight flying fairway driver for me vs. a flippy understable driver. The plastic is great: grippy and no damage so far despite hitting a couple of trees. Looking forward to more rounds with this one.
