This disc is truly somewhere between a Thunderbird and a Wraith. In the Glow plastic, it is overstable for sure. Very flat feel overall. Comfortable rim for both backhand and forehand. To get max distance on a backhand with it, I have to put it on a flex line and the fight out of the flex is very trustworthy. Now to the forehand: I am in love with this disc for forehands. I can trust it on a hard and flat release (or anny for that matter). It can handle the torque of a forehand very well. On a powerful flat forehand line, I can push it out 300-325 ft dead straight and then a forward pushing strong fade, finishing between 340-360 ft. The Glow Animus has filled the slot between my Firebirds/Dynasty in the 9 speed range and my faster distance drivers such as the Aztec and Wraith. I also find myself pulling it out in windy situations where I think the Aztec and Wraith will risk turning over. The Glow Animus is not quite as beefy as my more overstable Firebirds, but it is enough to really trust in the wind. I'm sure as it beats in it will become so money. If you have some power and need a good stable hybrid disc between your fairways and distance drivers, look no further.

I had a first run in ethos and that flew a lot closer to the flight numbers. Now getting it in glow, it seems a lot more beefy. Suuuper flat too. I used to use this disc as my understable somewhat flippy hyzerflip forehand disc, but now I gotta put this thing on anhyzer. Glow is also pretty solid. Just a bit less glowy than the mvp eclipse 2.0 plastic.
