The Animus is a high-performance distance driver with a moderately overstable flight pattern. It handles torque well when thrown by experienced players, but does not have so much fade that it is unmanageable by recreational players who need an overstable driver in their bag. It has been compared to a cross between an Innova Wraith and Thunderbird.

When I got this Disc I enojyed on forehand at first but it was suprising more understable than I thought, went to play with little to no wind and it just kept going to opposite direction as I wanted but I had to thow it at a certain angle to get the lines I wanted but overall amazing disc I highly recommend getting it, it has the stability of a construct and the reach of an synapse. love this disc and I plan on adding more tsa to my game

In ethos plastic, this is a faster PD. I would say 10.5 is an accurate speed, the rim width is a nice hybrid between my 9 speeds and my 12s. Pretty flat top. Forehanders are going to fall in love with this thing. For backhand, it's a disc you can really rip into flat or with a touch of anhyzer and trust that it will fight back, even in a headwind. You need to have 400+ distance to get the most out of this disc.

Got this as a mystery disc (only $10!) and very pleased again with Infinite's selection. Don't have super fast arm speed and this disc fits it well. The fade is perfect and what I was hoping to expect. Thanks for the bargain Infinite.

I think I've probably thrown my furthest forehand with this disc. Before I was throwing an I-blend Slab for my forehand flex shots, but this flexes a bit more with more glide. Plus the disc is insanely beautiful in ethos plastic.

I got this for Christmas without knowing anything about it beforehand.  I immediately looked at the numbers and thought it'd be too high-speed/too stable for my casual arm (300-350 feet).  It's actually a perfect disc for that power range.  The disc was incredibly consistent for me; dead straight with a nice stability at the end.  Every throw was 300-325 at about 90% power.  It was actually most similar to my CD2 but maybe a touch longer on average.  I can see this becoming my workhorse driver.  The Ethos plastic looks and feels amazing as well.  I will definitely be looking to add more TSA discs if they release more.

The Animus is a good disc, unless you really power it up. With decent speed, it has a big turn that may or may not fight out of it. I was expecting it to be more over-stable, so I was surprised by its inability to handle torque. Nevertheless, it's a great fairway driver for slower arm speeds looking for a straight flier that will fade a touch.

For me, it was too unpredictable to keep in the bag.

I took both my Ethos and Ethereal Animus out to the field to test against a Neutron Trace, a Vapor Enigma, and a Star Wraith.  The Animus was certainly the most stable of the set, most closely resembling the star wraith when thrown with ~400 feet of power. It showed about 10-15 feet of drift to the right, when thrown slight (5 degrees) hyzer before finishing to the left about 30 feet left of its original trajectory. I would recommend this disc for folks who might not necessarily have the arm for a Destroyer/Force/PD2 but want something that will go 340-360' and get a little bit of turn at the top end of their arm speed. The stamp(s) are unrivaled, both the Ethos and Ethereal stamps are triple foil, and just ridiculously good.

Just received my Ethos Animus and it is absolutely stunning! I purchased solely for the stamp with no intention of throwing it so this review may be a bit pointless other than saying this may very well be the coolest looking discs on the market today! Nice beefy feel in the hand with one of the thickest flight plates I've felt in a long time... Buy two so you can throw one and hang the other on a wall!
