The Streamline Pilot is the first single-mold putter manufactured by MVP Disc Sports. This is a medium-depth, small-bead putt & approach disc with a comfortable, round nose. This putter is a slow flyer but flies very straight and glides well. The flight of the Pilot is described to be similar to that of a beat in MVP Anode.

How can you beat a pilot? There's a reason that disc is regarded as one of the best driving putters. Imagine a buzzz with a boatload of glide and you have a pilot. You can put this thing on 400ft level power and it won't flip, won't fade, just go straight...to the basket. I also have a very weak and clunky forehand which I only use for upshots. This thing even with my terrible forehand comes out straight and fades in. It's just so predictable, moreso than my zone. It gets to the point where I feel this disc can fill every spot in a bag. It's a driver, mid, and putter in one with the shape of a deep dish pan. It's insanely good and everyone should at least try throwing a Pilot once.

I probably have more Pilots in my possession than any other disc. Currently have three Electrons, one Cosmic Electron, and one SE Neutron. All fly very neutral to start with except the SE Neutron. That one is a bit more stable than the other. I used the Pilot as my primary putting putter for over a year. Only reason I swapped is due to form and not being able to get as clean of a release as I wanted. It has excellent glide if given enough height. Electron beats in very nicely. Cosmic Electron starts out a little slick so be careful. Neutron feels awesome and holds whatever line you put it on. Its medium depth so comfort may be great or may be bad. Just depends on your hands. It felt good, but not great for my hand size. I did have some trouble finding the right grip. Fantastic option for anyone regardless of skill level.

Awesome disc. Holds straight on hard throws and finishes forward and to the left thrown flat on RHBH. Holds lots of different angles, even when thrown hard. Hard to find a disc that will hold a hyzer, flat, and anhyzer. Can't recommend it enough either off the tee or as an approach disc

I love the MVP family, especially streamline, but for some reason I avoided the Pilot for a long time. One day, I traded in a bunch of discs at my local shop and ended up grabbing one of the Neutron special edition Pilots. I was very glad I did.
The Neutron Pilot flies more stable than you'd expect (I throw the Reactor too, and I'd say it's roughly a putter version of that) and goes dead straight with a light fade at the end. It great for driving, Hyzer approaches that you don't want to skip, Hyzer putting, or even super touchy FH approaches.
The Electron Pilot turns slightly when thrown flat, flips to flat when thrown on Hyzer, and glides beautifully. I feel very confident putting full power into both the Neutron and Electron versions, something I can say of very few putters.
I don't putt with it currently, but I'm considering making the switch!

I bought this putter because I was getting frustrated with the Aviar. I love the Aviar for putting but not throwing. I carry a 10 disc small bag, so I only carry one putter and I wanted a dual putter for throwing and putting. This fit the bill perfectly. I can put this on a line for about 230ft consistently. I have no complaints with the putting but I do prefer the feel of the Aviar for putting. This is in my bag for the foreseeable future.

I received the Neutron Pilot as my Disc with my 2021 PDGA Birdie Club Membership and have purchased several more after finding that I enjoyed the Pilot as a thrower.

     Throwing:

I love the Pilot as a throwing putter 240' - 270'. It does have good glide (I'd say 4 rather than 5), but it also has a predictable straight putter finish where it just drops flat at the end of the flight when it loses velocity. I throw the Pilot when I need a straight putter throw that has carry and I throw an Envy when I need a more stable finish. I use the Pilot for woods tunnel shots quite a bit. I also use my Proton for touch forehands that I need to turn over or when I want to flick straight at the bucket.

    Putting:

The Pilot replaced the P2 as my putting putter. I really enjoy the feel of this disc in my hand - it has the best feel of any putter that I have used. Something about the dimensions of this putter give me a really good feel for the nose angle of release between my thumb atop the flight plate and fingers beneath it. It's hard to explain, but I think it may be the depth that gives me this feeling of control. Overall, I just feel confident in where the nose is going when I release a putt with this disc.

    Plastics:

Neutron is the most stable - I would give it a 2 fade out of the box but it beat into a straight 0 - 0.5 finish within a couple of months. Proton flies true to the numbers out of the box and still doesn't flip over. Electron is my putting putter - I haven't actually thrown them hard.

    Overall:

    Awesome offering from Streamline!

I received a 174g Neutron Streamline when I signed up for the PDGA and the disc quickly found a spot in my bag. The neutron plastic was stiff and almost slippery smooth out of the box. Broken-in playing every day for a few months, the plastic has kept its stiffness but the grip has gotten a lot better. The rim is medium depth and rounded with a small angle (similar to a wizard) and a small bead. The top is almost flat.

Released flat it flies dead straight for 85% of the flight and then gently fades. I can put it on an anhyzer angle and get a little turn out of it, but it usually fights back pretty quick. For a high-glide putter, it handles the wind surprisingly well. This is probably not the disc for touchy anhyzer shots in the woods (at least until is is really beat-in). I use it for two things: primary stable throwing putter and long putts.

What stands out about this disc is the combination of glide and torque resistance. For a putter, this thing really wants to stay in the air. I have thrown high-glide putters before (like the aero, pure, mahkani, guard) and they simply haven't been able to handle being thrown hard. I never have to worry about throwing the pilot too hard. For folks who like to hyzer-flip their putters, this is probably less of an issue. Personally, I find hyzer-flip shots touchy and riskier than just finding a disc that will go straight when thrown flat. In any case, the pilot can handle being thrown hard and flat, and, because of the glide, it gets serious distance. My max distance is about 400 feet with a driver and I'm consistently throwing the pilot over 300 (that is about 50 ft more than I expect to get out of a putter). Not only does it excel at being thrown hard (usually tee shots), but it can also be thrown gently and still get where you want it because of the glide. This makes it ideal both off the tee and for gentle upshots. I mostly throw it backhand but am definitely comfortable throwing some short forehand upshots with it as well. If you are looking for a workhorse of a throwing putter, this could be it.

The second thing I use it for is long putts, especially when I have bad footing and can't engage my lower body. The glide on this thing gives me an extra 10-20ft of power on putts, so if I'm too far to trust my putting power or have awkward footing that makes me worried about getting full power from my lower body, I reach for this. It is too glidey to be an everyday putter. I'd be worried about my misses sailing 30ft past the basket. However, if I was a beginner or didn't have average putting power, this might be a perfect everyday putting putter. I wish I could comment on differences between plastics but all I have is the neutron for now (might need to grab a few more and return for an update!).

I got a Neutron SL because I like putting with my Electron Firms so much that I figured why not drive with one too?  Mine is flat topped and max weight and my opinion of it is almost exactly what Ryan Eagle Eye wrote below except I am sure the glide is not near a 5.  It is very stable and generally wants a full pull and good snap to fly like its chart.  For me the glide is nowhere near the Electrons and my max distance with the Neutron SL is way less than my favorite driving putters... Whales and Wizards.  This is a disc that will not do anything you don't force it to do, so in that respect it is a good approach disc.  On the flip side, its not going to do anything to make you look better than you are.  I am a little disappointed with it only because I wanted it to glide more like the Electrons without throwing it with fairway driver power.  What I like but did not expect though is how good it works for forehands.  I am not good at flicking most putters but I can flick this one... and Bergs.  FH it reminds me of K2 Bergs but way flatter and shallower... so better feeling in hand.

I bought this disc to be a workhorse throwing putter. I throw a beat in 300 soft prodigy PA3 for my straight to understable putter shots but I needed something that finishes a bit left and I can throw in the wind. The pilot feels great in the hand. I used to use wardens and this kind of reminds me of them but less deep and a thinner profile which I prefer. The neutron plastic feels great and I am considering switching over to this for putting as well. The flight is very glidy but with a reliable stable flight for me. To be fair, I live at high elevation and everything flies more stable up here. Streamline makes great plastic and great discs, I would highly recommend the pilot for any player.

The Pilot in Neutron plastic is a great putter!  The increased glide instills confidence in going for longer putts without having to change your putting stance.  I was able to hit several putts from 40-50 feet with ease.  The only time the additional glide initially proved problematic was on downhill attempts.  I clanked the first couple of putts off the top of the basket, but quickly made the adjustment to compensate for the glide.  It will also hold any angle, thus is great as an approach disc.  Finally, it performs well off the tee and can easily be used on shots under 250 feet.  This is a fantastic disc that will be prominently featured in my bag for a long time.

This disc does it all. So much so that I bought a bunch of them for putter practice and putter rounds. If I was going to throw a single disc for an entire round, this would be it.

On drives it holds the line very well and does not turn over even at max power. You can give it a little bit of hyzer (like the tiniest bit) to get it to flip up. Or you can give it a tiny bit of anhyzer to throw a flex shot. Or you can throw it flat and just toss it straight.

On approaches you can really take advantage of the glide on this disc. I use this for flex approaches when there might be a tree slightly in the way or something.

This is a great putter. I was worried that the high glide would put misses too far beyond the basket but you can really float this one up there. I have found this great for both push putts and spin putts.

I also used this to lean how to throw forehand flicks and it works great. On a power grip I turn it over (maybe other people do not?) but on a split grip I have found the Pilot to be very reliable as well.

Picked this up after I had gained some skill but imagine this disc would be great for anyone. Certainly it will grow with your skill and is a great practice disc.

I first tried the Pilot in electron medium when they first came out.  It was fine, kinda thin/wide diameter, straight.  Very much like the atom....but I liked the atom more so I kinda set them aside and eventually sold them.   Time flies by now the Pilot is out in NEUTRON plastic.  I honestly never meant to pick one up but was at the store and grabbed one, and it looked and felt incredible.  Swirly gray black with a dead flat top and insane grip and the flex is still firm.  The disc felt way different than electron, feels deeper.  Well I picked it up for $13 so can't go wrong.   Took it out and noticed immediately it was more stable than I would have guessed.  After several throws in the field, play at 3 courses, and testing in several wind conditions I will say that my N Pilot at 176g flies like 2/5/0/1.5  - it isn't really a SLOW disc, but its a 2 speed, but does have a lot of glide.  I would call it a 4, but they mark it a 5 and i won't argue with it as it does hover really nice.  No turn....like....none, at all.  Again this is just my experience with 1 pilot but flat top neutron 176g that's what it did. The fade was there but not major.  On touch throws it would fade out a little more, with speed it holds straight but breaks hyzer smoothly then a sharper hyzer finish.  I could see it being called 2/4/0/2 or 2/5/0/1 but not much else.  It was kinda like a more stable nova in how its used. Wind did not flip it over, actually flew well in wind even though its a 2 speed and 5 glide.   Not laser straight unless you snap it flat like a pro.  It will fade, but it was great for running loft long putts and have it drift in.  Overall really good disc.  Neutron plastic is incredible in a single mold putter.  Its worth a try if you want a driving putter with a lot of glide that doesn't turn over (but no zone or harp of course)

    ps: Upshot machine.

I love the PILOT. I've been carrying an electron soft since it was released (see my review of that disc). So, I was so excited for the premium plastic pilot! Well, the neutron pilot leaves something to be desired.  The plastic is slick and stiffer than I expected.  It does not fly as straight as the electron Pilot either and not as much glide. Frankly,  it's a very different disc from the electron version. Nonetheless,  I grabbed a 168g and I'm using for those longer upshots.  Hope to season it to a straight flyer.
