The RPM Tara Iti has a smooth, aerodynamic top and a steeper concave under-rim. This design results in a driver that will quickly become a go-to for most players. The smooth top provides good distance and glide and the concave under-rim prevents the disc from flipping at high speed. Even though it has plenty of distance as a speed-10 disc, it is great for control and easy placement.

RPM Discs newest disc to the collection is the Tara Iti!  This is a disc that I honestly didnt think would hold a big slot in my bag, I was wrong.  Compared most comonly to a Innova Thunderbird or Discraft Vulture, I would say it is similar, but better.  I used to have a beat in Thunderbird that flew very straight and had just a small fade at the end.  My atomic Tara Itis have this flight straight out of the box.  I couldnt beleive it, but this disc has become one of the discs I rely on most.  If thrown on anhyzer it will flex out and finish fading but it doesnt fade hard unless thrown with alot of hyzer.  Great glide, amazing flight, couldnt be happier with this disc.

This disc has taken my bag by storm. For a while I was struggling with my 9-10 speed stable slot. I bagged a new Discmania S-Line PD for a while bit just didn't fall in love with it. I threw a TSA Construct which I liked but the plastic tends to be pretty stiff. Then came along the Tara Iti. It's the perfect blend of it's workable on several angles, it glides forever, reliable finish that pushes forward, and I love the plastic and hand feel. I'm not comfortable with 12 speeds yet so I've been using the Tara Iti as my max distance and reliable driver. I've never had a driver that does exactly what I expect it to every time like the Tara Iti. In Atomic (Star/ESP type plastic) and Cosmic (Champion type plastic) it feels great. If you aren't in love with your current stable 9-10 speed slot, I'd 100% reccomend this Tara Iti!

About me: I throw near sea level and can get a 10 speed disc max to around 350ft-375ft.

The brand new Tara Iti from RPM Discs is an absolutely amazing disc. Lots of RPM fans who have already thrown it are comparing it to the FR Mint Pekapeka which is fairly overstable compared to most Pekapekas. I would agree with this assessment for the most part, however I would say that the Tara Iti has less turn and more fade. When thrown flat it will ride straight forever and then dump out at the end rather than it trying to fade at the very end of the flight. When thrown on anhyzer, it will definitely take that turn and push for quite some time and then once again, dump out at the end of its flight but with much more pushing fade than on a flat release. And of course, as with most overstable fairway drivers, if you throw the Tara Iti on hyzer, it’s just gonna hold that hyzer line for the entire flight. It will try to push forward on that hyzer line in it’s flight but unless you absolutely mash on it, it isn’t going to flip up to flat. This is a very angle dependent disc! It literally does what you tell it to do with your angles. In comparison to RPM’s other overstable fairway driver, the Huia, the Tara Iti gets much more glide but I believe it will still stand up to the wind if thrown on the correct angle. This disc is going to be an absolute staple in every RPM throwers bag because it is ridiculously trustworthy! If you are looking to get a flippier version of the Tara Iti, don’t be scared to grab one in the Strata plastic because I have actually experienced some good turn before that reliable fade with the Strata Tara Iti. All in all, this was a spot that RPM was missing in their fairway lineup and they absolutely nailed it with a Tara Iti. For those of you who have been dealing out the big bucks to get a FR Mint Pekapeka, save yourself some money and grab a Tara Iti or two. I promise you will love it!
