This disc is the perfect stable mid.  I had been struggling finding a mid that wasn't over stable but could handle high speeds on flat release.  This disc doesn't turn and then has a nice soft fade at the end.  I can normally push this to 275 without having to max distance throw it.  Doesn't like FH as much as I would have liked.  Fine for small shots but can't handle much over 50% on FH.  Anny it will hold the line for a bit and then pan out to maybe fade if given enough height.

It is a good disc you can trust on a variety of lines. Typically, I throw this flat and it hard fades out. I have had it for about a month and purchased it in Atomic plastic. I think after a year or some of use it will become very straight with a dependable fade... kinda "Roc~ish" I imagine.

I have not liked this disc on forehand

This disc is MONEY. Everyone needs an overstable mid in the bag. This one is SO predictable and controllable. Have Atomic, Magma and Cosmic. All start out pretty OS and beat in to super straight with fade. You don't have to worry about turning this over. It won't turn over lol. But that's not to say that it's BEEFY, cause it's not. It's just nice and OS then stable. Reliable. Feels GREAT in the hand.

A Buzzz-like mid range with a comfortable feel and extremely grippy Atomic plastic. Thrown backhand, the Kotuku has a mildly overstable flight, but when thrown forehand it is straight with a slight finish at the end of flight. Handles power well. Atomic plastic holds up to abuse from the course. Comparisons to the Kotuku would be an ESP Buzzz, Fusion Verdict, Fusion EMac Truth, and Westside Gatekeeper.

Well, everyone needs an overstable mid in their bag. I think the Kotuku is one of the most useable molds. It knocked the Malta straight outta my bag. I think the flight numbers are accurate, as when thrown flat and hard it will go straight for a while then have a strong fade at the end. It's always reliable whether in the wind or not.

The Kotuku from RPM discs is their second most recently released disc. Following 8 other PDGA approved Disc Golf molds, the Kotuku has quickly become an absolute staple in my bag. Before I got my hands on a Kotuku, I was a Buzzz thrower. I have always loved the flight and feel in the hand that the Buzzz offers but after adding the Kotuku to my bag and replacing the Buzzz with it... I don't even think about a Buzzz anymore. In my opinion the Kotuku feels even better in my hand and also offers more overstability. The Atomic Kotuku that I am bagging is an outstanding straight flying disc with a predictable OS finish at the end of the flight. The Strata Kotuku pushes straight longer but still veers off with some fade just before it is done flying. With both an Atomic and Strata Kotuku in my bag complimenting my Piwakawakas and Keas, I will never need another mid in my bag! Along with the outstanding flight and feel of the Kotuku, the stamp is absolutely gorgeous! This beautiful Kotuku bird (Great Egret or White heron in the US) stamp just sets this disc off to make the perfect Mid for my bag. RPM Discs absolutely knocked it out of the park (course?) with this one and the future for RPM is very bright! I can't wait to see what RPM has in store for us next! But until then, grab yourself a Kotuku and I am 100% sure you will be highly satisfied with it! If you want to learn more about the Kotuku, please consider checking out the video below:

Very solid mid from a company I'm really starting to like. The Atomic plastic of this one feels a lot like great stiff Star plastic with a bit of a swirl to the blue one I have and the stamp is very cool as well.

The flight is that of your ideal straight to fade mid, the Roc3/M2/Bard type flight that will penetrate straight and have a reliable fade to help hit lines and stick on greens.

While it may not be crazy unique, it is very good and a lot of fun to throw. And the look of this disc is fantastic, as are most RPM discs.

Throwing Atomic plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

This is a pretty great midrange from RPM. It has a good rim to it, that feels pretty comfortable in your hand. I really enjoy the forehand grip. Atomic has a pretty great feel to it. Holding the disc gives me a sense that it should be much more overstable than what it is. This disappoints me a little.

The numbers on this disc is quite accurate I find. The flight is pretty straight with a little bit of fade at the end. overall this disc can hand a decent amount of power without turning over. I was able to get some decent flex shots with this disc. It isn't so overstable that it will always come out of the anhyzer line, but it came out often enough to be reliable.

Overall, this would be a great disc for anyone to try out.

This is a nice frisbee. it is very comparable to a method. I think it's slightly more stable than the method, but mine might just be beat in a little. I really can't decide which one I want to keep in the bag right now, because I really like both of them. The Kotuku's rim is a little more curvy and bigger. RPM's artwork really can't be beat though. I'm actually pretty sure they got their picture from google images because I saw the bird positioned in the exact same way on there lol.

    The Classic Stable-Overstable Midrange

This disc fits right in that slot of the stable to overstable mid, similar to a Roc, a fresh stable Buzzz, or a Method. Personally I think this disc has less glide than most of those. It will be replacing my Exo Hard Method, which had much more glide, but also was less stable.

The Kotuku is definitely has a good amount of stability, but it comes out late in the flight. I can usually throw this on a dead straight line for 75% of the flight, and expect it to completely dump out at the end. It's dependable, it won't flip, and you'll always get that fade.

The feel is very smooth and curved. Yes it has a small bead, not particularly noticeable. The nose is very rounded which feels great in a fan grip. Personally mine still had a bit of flashing, which wasn't ideal, but it wasn't as bad as some other discs I've gotten.

This disc replaced my roc3 as it has a similar flight path. I find it a bit more comfortable than the roc3 because the bead is smaller. Love the design, name and company. Another great disc by RPM!
