The Kotare is a an overstable, high-speed distance driver by RPM. For stronger arms, this disc will have a long flight with a slight turnover, followed by a reliable fade. For slower arms, the Kotare will be the perfect hyzer disc, turning out of the hand to get around sharp corners and obstacles.

Very much your go to overstable, wind fighting, driver that would fill the slots of a Destroyer or Venom.  Some runs have a really nice dome to them and can provide some amazing glide.  Most are board flat, however, and are great for forehands as it has great torque resistance.  I can get a nice flex shot with the Kotare on backhand as well.  Definitely always have one of these in my bag with me.

Holy Moly I LOVE this disc. 3 rounds in a row now in windy conditions this thing has saved my butt. It’s like a Destroyer that’s easier to throw? I only throw about 385 and I can easily control this thing. It fights headwinds beautifully. It is very reliable and much more glide than you would think. This is now my go to Distance Driver in windy conditions. Thank you RPM!

Ok, Distance drivers (disk with a power over 9) are a new thing to me as I return to disc golf.  Been throwing golf disc off and on for almost 40 years and like trying out different disc and throws.

For me, this disk flies well with a hard fade predictably when throw under powered, so a good stepping up your power disk if your aspiring to longer drives.  When you have the throw (some days I do, some days my body just is old) this disk just goes the distance.  Will make you fell like a pro when you do it.  It's a good disk.

I like it's feel in the hand.  Nice art.

    Here are my takeaways

-The rough edge of the disc makes for uncomfortable gripping- which is exacerbated by being a wide rimmed driver- but it's not really too bad, just not for me (and it will go away as it breaks in of course).

-Its the most overstable "12,5,0,3" disc that I've ever thrown out of the stock/standard 5 bigger companies on the market (destroyer, etc)  It fly's more like a flick to me but more glide, and just a very small tad bit slower?

The only positive for me is the quality of the plastic.  I have both atomic and cosmic and for its cost its one of the best hard premium plastics on the market; though I found through my short 2 year span of playing so far that i prefer drivers on the softer side, so again - just not for me.

This disc feels like a force. I have thrown the Atomic and Cosmic versions of this disc. The flat top ones are a little less over stable than the pop top. All in all the flight is true to the numbers it does not want to flip over which is great. If you need a disc that you absolutely need to trust to hyzer out here it is. The closes disc I have felt to it is a force, but this disc flies a lot better than any force I have thrown. Also, the plastics feel great.

The description is right on for this disc.  For faster arm speeds this is going to be your go to distance driver that you can crank on and trust no matter what.  For slightly slower arms it is a great head wind driver.  I can throw it as hard as I want into a head wind, and it will just fly straight, never having to worry about it turning over, with a constant hook up at the end.  Also great for power sidearms, especially if you tend to release them with a little anhyzer.  The Kotare will fly out quick and then have the stabilty to hook up at the end!  Newer players can use it more as a utility disc for when they need to hook quick.

Overall another great disc from RPM, and the fantastic plastics and stamps make them not just fly great but look great as well!
