The Reptilian Disc Golf Scale is a very reliable, overstable putter. It feels very similar to the Wizard, and has a subtle thumb track around the top. It has gained a lot of popularity since it's creation. "2015 Disc of the Year - 4th Place, Highest Placing Putter of 2015"

    Fossil Fuel Details

Fossil Fuel plastic is very similar to Fossil plastic, but with added color. This blend is a little bit slicker than the traditional Fossil plastic. It's perfect for driving or putting with a slightly stiffer feel.

The flight numbers seem spot on.  This is a low speed and relatively low glide disc when throwing approaches. It fills the same spot in the bag as a Rhyno but does not fly like a Rhyno. The Rhyno has somewhat normal glide. I have to throw the Scale a tad harder to reach the target, but it has been very accurate. After hitting a field ace and chains many times on upshots, I thought I should give the mold its due with a good review.  If you like deep dish, go Scale. If you like a thin approach disc, go Chief.

It's not a bad disc at all. It is a glideless putter, yes. But... I just can't bring myself to find a reason to use it. I can't flick it at all because the rim is deep and sharp and comes out of my hand weird. When I toss it backhand, it does what is asked, but it just doesn't feel comfortable doing it. Maybe it's the fossil fuel plastic, which also just feels hard and unforgiving; fossil fuel to me feels like the plastic that lines car interior kick panels. Regardless, I replaced my Scale with an Innova Rhyno (another disc I don't particularly care for, but flies very similar to the Scale and is easier to flick). Again, it's a good disc, and perhaps those who actually throw wizards (I've never) might like this disc better.
