Although the sound of a disc hitting chains is one of the beautiful aspects of disc golf, there may be times when you need to quiet the noise. The Chain Suppressor wraps around the center pole to greatly quiet the metal-on-metal sound. The neoprene helps keep the noise down for indoor or backyard practice. The Suppressor is reversible so you can choose all black or yellow target stripes.

Fits most baskets with center poles 1.5" - 1.75" in diameter.

This is a pretty good chain suppressor. I have an axiom pro basket which I think is one of the louder baskets out there and this does a great job at reducing the mettallic clanking noise. It's good enought that I do pretty much all my putting inside my apartment and haven't gotten any complaints from anyone. It can still be pretty loud if you putt with higher pace but no metal on metal which is really nice. Overall I love using it and it has enabled me to get my putting practice in which I was unable to previously due to the noise.

Slapped this on my black hole precision (which can be heard 7-8 blocks away), and got next to no sound on good, solid hits. It may also cut down on pole bounce-outs.

I don't review things, but I made an exception for this. As someone who has neighbors close by, this is amazing. It really does dampen the noise and does exactly what you'd spend $10 for. If you need to suppress sound while banging chains, buy this!
