The Sparta is the second putt and approach disc in the Prodiscus line. This is an Aviar-type putter that you can throw every shot with. Even with low power and moderate spin, the Sparta holds the line nicely.

What a great putter. I had switched putters so many times before finding this putter, but the release, flight, and feel of the plastic has sold me for the past couple of years at least. The straight putt flight was important, but it's really the plastic that makes prodiscus shine here.  I just don't understand how they can make a base type plastic thats so grippy but not soft or floppy at all, and doesn't beat in like crazy. These also fly great in Premium plastic of the tee as well, absolutely dead straight with plenty of glide.

Great beadless putter.  Sparta is a little deeper than origo.  Closest compared to an aviar or Luna. In ultrium you can really pump on it and expect a super straight flight.  Base plastic is a great putting putter.

The Sparta currently holds the slot of go-to putting putter for me. I try A LOT of putters and am constantly seeking that perfect fit that will give me an extra boost on the margins (yes, I know I should be practicing more). Right now it's the Sparta and it's held the spot for a good spell! Nice grip, good glide and grabs chains. I'm a fan! If you are interested, I wrote about it and other lesser-known putters here: https://discgolfaround.com/best-disc-golf-putting-putters-youve-never-heard-of/ Check it out and give me some ideas for other putters in the comments! I'll probably buy whatever you suggest! But I doubt you'll regret the Sparta!

I never thought I'd switch from the Reko, but happened to try this out because it was on sale and I wanted the Reko with a little more glide, and that's exactly what I got, plus a little bit cleaner release. The plastic is not as good as K3, but it's definitely good enough, and this is my current favorite putting putter. I still use the Proxy and Envy as my approachers - they're so good off the tee - but I'm putting with the Sparta anywhere inside circle 2. This putter holds a straight line when spin-putting with power and I highly recommend it.

The market is flooded with putters that all claim to give players a solid grip, but the basic plastic from Prodiscus is just different. It's not Jawbreaker, its not D-line...it's just miles better. This is my go to putter because that part of your game is truly about grip and feel. Look no further if you want grip on those hot humid days, rainy days, or if you are just sweaty. This disc flies at the basket and it will hold the angle you put it on, great for a hyzer putt and will handle the speed of a spin putt.

The basic plastic will also do a good job of hitting the ground on a flat approach and just stick, never a skip or a big slide. I would 100% say buy these and putt with them, you will be amazed.

The Prodiscus Sparta is my go to putter currently.  I like most people have tried more than my share of putters.  I started with Wizards the moved to a Voodoo, then went with Aviars, to using a Judge for a while.  The Sparta kicked me off of other putters and keeps doing so.

I was first introduced to Prodiscus through Infinite Disc mystery disc option at check out.  when looking into them more I was looking for throwing putters (enter the Jokeri and sparta).  I purchased both to see which would fill the hole in my game.  through trial and error I know have over 50 Spartas in all the plastic varieties and use them for so many kinds of shots.

For putting it is a great strait shooter (10 to 30 feet) with my way of putting (mix of push/spin) out of C1 you get a little more end fade that is very reliable.  For close approach shots (60 to 150 feet) the glide makes it effortless to get to the pin and after beat in a bit you have very little skip if you land flat. Finally, for the off the tee shots this thing is butter.  I'm able to put whatever kind of power in it and it will hold a line.  Some of my more beat in premium/ultrium plastic has the same flight characteristics without the addition of any noticeable turn.

In the end I know that this disk has helped make me a better player by seeing the shape of my shots when throwing.  I have recommended this disk to many people that are starting, aswell as teaching my kids how to throw hyzer and annhyzer lines.

Imagine a Innova Nova that actually feels good in the hand. This is that disc, with just the slightest bit more fade on softer shots. On long up-shots or drives, it is just a straight as the Nova. I always loved the flight of the Nova, but hated the feel of it in the hands, and now I found the perfect alternative. I use both the Ultrium and Basic Sparta. The Basic feels so nice and grippy, that I love throwing this thing for laser straight approaches and drives, and it also makes for an amazing putter. The Ultrium feels great as well, like a much nicer feeling star plastic. This Ultrium plastic is one of the longest lasting plastics on the market. I've been throwing the same Ultrium Jokeri for my stable putter for about  5 years, and it is still in almost perfect condition. So if you had to get one, get the Basic because it is great for both driving and putting, whereas the Ultrium is more for just driving and approaches.

While my plastic addiction keeps me buying more and more putters, the Basic Sparta keeps hanging with the very best of them. If only they made it in a stiffer basic plastic, this would have a fighting cahnce to make my bag... I believe this is one of the most undervalued and underappreciated putters on the market...

The Sparta also holds as good a line as any putter I've ever thrown, so it is not a one-trick-pony. Prodiscus is making some great putters. They knocked it out of the park with the overstable Jokeri, and now they did it again with the dead-straight Sparta.

One of the best neutral flight putters available. The basic plastic Sparta is grippy and flies arrow straight. Although I have since changed putters, the 3 years I putted with Sparta helped my game immensely.

All I can say about the Sparta is WOW. This putter is unlike any putter I have ever thrown, the flight path is almost indescribable. Okay, that's not true, I'm about to describe it. The Sparta can best be described as Neutral, or Straight. But, this is unlike any other putter I have ever thrown that I would consider to be Neutral or Straight. The interesting thing about the Sparta is that release angle is much more important than power. When thrown on a hyzer angle, it would hold a nice, yet slight hyzer line. When thrown on the same angle with more power, it would still show the EXACT SAME FLIGHT PATH. I can't describe it, it's amazing. Discs like the Prodigy Pa-4 or the Innova XT Colt will hold the same type of slight hyzer line, but with added power they will flip or show their understable tendencies. The Sparta doesn't seem to have any tendencies at all. I could throw it hard and flat or soft and flat and both times would hold a straight flight path.

The disc always would have a slight fade at the end, but never enough to make the disc skip or do anything crazy around the green. I liked watching Jared Roan throw this disc, he could throw it really far. Just like I described before, the angle of release was all that was important with the disc. It wouldn't flip, it wouldn't dump out with a big fade, it simply held the line it was put on.

Prodiscus has made an interesting disc here, and I will likely pick one up just to show people the interesting flight path.

I haven't thrown the Sparta yet, but here is Kai's video showing its flight path of this new putter.
