The Prodigy X2 is a consistent, long-flying, overstable distance driver designed for multiple skill levels.  Players who are looking for a solid distance driver in windy conditions or long, right-to-left hyzer shots (for RHBH) will feel that the X2 fits perfectly in their bag.  For fans of the X1, the X2 matches its consistency but exceeds its speed and glide.

    Disc - 173 400 X2

Feel - The X series is fairly shallow overall but I wouldn't say that it is overly shallow. The rim size is not too large at all either. I have not looked up the measurements but the rim feels similar to a wraith or maybe destroyer sized. The disc I have is pretty flat but not board flat by any means.

Flight - The X2 surprised me with how good its flight was. It does not show hardly any high speed turn but the fade is very manageable. This disc has a great flight and good glide. In my opinion, it is the most wraith like disc in the prodigy lineup (don't have much experience with the X3 but it seems more flippy than most wraiths).

Overall - The X2 is a fantastic distance driver that I would recommend to many people that think the D series is a bit too fast for them or want something a bit more controllable.

This is my go-to distance driver. It took about of month's worth of playing to break it in, and now it isn't quite as overstable as when it was brand new. Still flies straight as an arrow when thrown flat, but now, I'm able to throw it full speed with some very slight hyzer, and it will pop up and fly very long and straight. The fade at the end is strong, however, so you need to make sure you aim far enough right (for RHBH throwers) to finish at your target.

I was a beginner when I bought this, so I ended up meat-hooking every throw. Now, my fundamentals are much better and this disc is a regular in my bag. I would reccomendthis to anyone who needs an overstable distance driver!

At first, I found this disc to be as overstable as almost anything. I did some sanding under the rim to take the flashing down, mainly for my own comfort, and it changed a lot. I can use it! It was a real meathook brand new for me.

X2 doesn't fly as fast as the D series do, in spite of what the paper says. A pro arm might disagree, but I see less distance with the X discs than the D discs. This has a blunt edge and shorter wing than the D's and other speed 12-13 discs. I find the X2 to offer more backbone and fade than the D1 or D2.  It's great in a headwind- in the heavy wind, it will turn a little, hold and fade.

If you don't like the wider sharp rims of most high speed drivers, you'll likely enjoy the X series discs.
