The second putter in the Prodigy line is said to be a “stable to overstable putt and approach disc” with a consistent flight path, and a favorite of disc golfers looking for consistency and reliability in all wind conditions. The PA-2 is very stable, but not quite as overstable as the PA-1. This is still an excellent driving putter that offers a little bit straighter flight path.

This disc was my go to driving putter off the tee when I threw a lot of prodigy. It gives me a reliable straight path. Like any putter it will be sensitive to bad form so you can really shank this if you release it on a bad angle or late.

I've thrown this disc in 300 and 400 plastics. 400 being grippier was the only difference for me.

Feel: The disc is slightly more shallow than Discmania's P2 for example, which I actually prefer. However the rim is quite sharp on the inside which makes it feel a bit awkward. I can't really get used to it.

Flight: It does okay as a putter aside from the fact that it feels awkward, however, this putter really doesn't do well for driving. It feels like throwing a bigger mini. I can't really get it to fly properly no matter how I try.

    Conclusion:

I'm sure there's someone who likes this disc, but I wonder if they have tried other manufacturers. If you like a disc that's shallow, I'd suggest the Envy or P3x or something in that line. I'm giving it a 2/5. This is not to say that the disc is useless. I guess a 1/5 would be a disc that barely stays together during it's flight, so 2/5 for me means that it flies, but I'd rather not be the one who throws it.

My go to approach disc for anything between 150-300. I currently bag 2 of these one more stable then the other. My beat up one will fly super straight and even a nice slight hzer flip and goes straight for days. My new prodigy 300s is nice stiff and stable good for slight head winds and it will hold a hyzer. If you like that nice chalky stiff putters for approach shots that you can manicure around the course I highly recomend trying these out!

Great driving disc. When thrown hard and flat, the PA2 has a pure flight. I use it for drives up to 250' that allow for a slight fade at the end. Good disc for a nice "S" pattern up shot.  The grip on this plastic is great. Have never had the disc slip off or grip lock. Very stiff and durable. My courses are heavily wooded and the flight remains true. All I have to do is hit my line and the disc does the rest!!

man i really like the 300S plastic. it has a great feel to it and feels like you have so much control on the release. If youve never felt the 300S imagine a chalky feeling Innova DX plastic. and if youve never felt Innova DX plastic then ur a yuppie that started on Champions!!!! JK JK! but seriously it has great grip and doesnt feel cheap at all for being the bottom of the line plastic for prodigy. I love what Prodigy has to offer. I prefer all their plastics over any other brand out there. The 300S is better than DX the 350RX is better than Pro the 400S is better than Champion and i havent felt the 750 but im assuming its better than Star. Even the AIR line feels better then the very cheap feeling Blizzard line. But anyway this putter flies straight and true and I can soon overtime see this putter being my go to which is a big statement!! Im used to an Innova Ryhno and that is a very overstable putter, I think this PA2 will suit me well as it is on the overstable side but not as extreme as what im used to. great putter for those people who are used to a Aviar bc is more stable than that but not too much. but remember the Speed is 3 on the PA2 so put that into consideration too for those of you who are used to a 2 Speed.
