As the name of this disc mold indicates the P (putter) Model S (Stable) is a stable-flying putt & approach disc in the Prodigy Ace Line. This is an ultra-glidey putter with a straight flight and a subtle fade that makes it perfect for draining long putts. The Ace Line P Model S has a slim profile, comfortable grip, and small bead designed to give you consistency for short drives, approach shots, and putts.

I use this disc for most of my putting. I am able to get mostly a straight flyer out of this and it gets good glide. It also holds well for short forehands.

P Model S in Duraflex Plastic

Recieved this in a player's pack and never really cared for it much. Even though it is an "S" model, it was a little more stable than I anticipated. It would probably work well for a point and shoot close range approach disc, but I already have that slot filled. The glide was also unimpressive, which might be a good thing if you are looking point and shoot.

The feel was okay, but doesn't feel as good as the Z-Zone which I can use for anything that I might use this disc for. Despite that, I have a couple discs in Duraflex and do like the plastic. I will continue to use it for some field practice, but highly doubt it makes it into my regular bag. The disc is fine, but nothing special for me.

    I would rate 3, 3, 0, 2

Great putter for anyone. The DuraFlex plastic feels really good in the hand and has good grip. So this disc is a nice disc for anyone "I think".

I received a P Model S in Duraflex plastic as a Mystery disc (173g & hot pink). At first I thought "oh no, now I need doubt my putter again..."

The P model S is a nice, well-rounded offering from Prodigy. It occupies a slightly different role than other P&A discs I've thrown, and is a nice glidey but controllable disc.

The color is the easiest to see of all of my discs - it's practically radiating, and I love it. The duraflex plastic is excellent. It feels durable. I tend to like my putters on the stiff side, but here again the P model S impresses. The duraflex feels just a little soft and grippy. Overall, this is one of my more comfortable putt and approach discs.

This is a slow and glidey putter that wants to say in the air. It can take a flat shot or just a touch of hyzer-to-flat, stays level, and then fades softly and predictably at the end fresh out of the box. Its possible that its glide will make it more wind-sensitive than an envy, but in calm conditions it floats on its line like a dream. It tends to land level and stays put, perhaps getting a little less ground action than my slightly flatter and faster other P&A discs. Like a Zone or Envy, it will tend to flatten out at the end of an anhyzer approach shot.

It has an Envy-like fade on longer (30'+ putts), but it is not overwhelming. Feel-wise, it seems to have the nose shape I like on the Pure. This putter is noticeably deeper than my current Putt & Approach workhorses (the Pure, Envy, and Proxy). However, its edge fits maybe even more nicely than the Pure in my big, square hand, and I don't find its depth distracting when I putt or throw it. This combination might be the best of both worlds for some players.

I suspect that it will be very helpful in that funny 100-150' foot range where I worry that a Pure or Envy might overshoot or get a little too much groundplay. My Pures now have a competitor for my primary putter.

I'm keeping this one in the bag for now.

*Edit 9.15.2021*: The P Model S has defeated the Pure as my primary putter. The glide, stability, and moderate fade make it an easy to toss and reliable putter that doesn't want to travel far on missed putts. Putts are sticking around in the approach role and certain scramble situations.

I ordered what was shown as a PA 3 and received a p model s with a made in china sticker. Are they the same disc? I don't know but, I do know that this is a super versatile, very capable throwing putter. Throw this disc very hard with no turn and very little fade. It feels in the hand like an oversize beaded putter. Almost like a Frisbee but not that big. For short courses, for me, this would replace midranges and some putters.  Great disc. Dura flex feels like it can last forever.

For 4 years I've been looking for a throwing putter that can do it all AND feels amazing in my hand and this is it. I throw 400' with moderately-stable drivers (Trespass) and 450'+ with flippier stuff (MVP Wave) and can absolutely mash on this putter without it turning over...but it will still hold an anhyzer line if the angle is right!

Slightly less-stable than a base-line PA-3 out of the box, and a bit glidier. It's about as point-and-shoot for power throwers as a non-overstable putter can be.

You can also flick it on a hyzer or anhyzer line and it will hold BOTH.

    How dey do dat??

There's a reason Seppo Paju has been throwing PA-3 putters for years and has now added this mold to his bag to compliment those as they've beaten in over time.

Will likely replace both the Discmania Tactic and straight throwing putter I had in my bag.
    Less is more.
