-Reviewing in base grip plastic- low profile putter with a small but noticeable bead. The base grip plastics are excellent even though they are so cheap. Great throwing putter that is reliable and accurate. For putting, my only issue is the lack of glide. I tended to come up low on putts from every range. I find the p model us to be a better putting putter, but nevertheless this is a great throwing putter at the least

The p model s was my go to Prodigy putter for the entire time I bagged prodigy plastic. They have a tiny bead that felt great in my hand, the base grip plastic is on the stiffer side and the flat top fit my hand well. They flew very straight within circle 2 and when throwing them for longer shots they would head dead straight and then give a small finish at the end. I felt like the base grip plastic was good but did get beat up like any other base line plastic. I really enjoyed the flight within the circle on a more spin putt, but they quickly fell out of the bag when I went back to an open bag. I think for people who like the feeling of a very small bead, the p model s will be a great choice. If you like a large bead or no bead at all you may still like them as it is the gap between the two. Overall great thrower and putting putter.

I love these putters for both putting and approaching.  They are reliably straight when thrown with intermediate power.  They also beat in pretty quickly to gain a little turn in my experience.  When putting with these I love the grip.  A little bit of snap keeps these putters fairly straight from anywhere in the circle.  I've now bought several of these to practice with and use in all of my rounds.

I use it for an approach disc with how great it feels. Low profile for easy forehands, and great rounding for smooth backhands. I'd recommend to anyone who wants an alternative the established overstable approach discs.

For my hands, this is a phenomenal putter.

I have exclusively used the P Model S as my putting putter for a number of months at this point. Before, I was putting with Wizards, but I found that my pinky would occasionally get caught on the Wizard's rim on release. I knew that this problem was wholly the Wizard's fault and so I must buy some new plastic.

At the time, Matty O was tearing it up on the greens with the P Model S, and they were $7 a piece (compared to $13 for my Wizards), so I figured I would give 'em a go and picked up two. When they arrived, they already felt great. They were shallower than the Wizard, which is what I was looking for, and they had almost the exact same flight.

Now I comb the site every now and again waiting for some more x-outs to drop.

This disc surprised the heck out of me! I admittedly hadn't thrown a lot of Prodigy plastic over my years of playing disc golf but when I got my hands on the P Model S, I went and ordered a good deal more.

I've putted all kinds of discs from all the different  company's at some point or another, though most of my years I've been with an old beat in classic judge. Nothing has ever beat it out until this disc. The basegrip plastic is exactly what I like in a putter, hard and firm, but with a smooth almost velvet-like feel (and it seasons nicely after putting it through it's putting practice paces to have even better hand feel).

The flight inside the circle is like every other putter on the market, essentially point and shoot, while outside the circle you get a nice predictable fade to help with those longer putts. It's also got good glide for long putts.

On drives and approaches it really shines. The P model S flies very true to the numbers and is super comfortable with a fan or power grip. Prodigy have a real winner with this disc and I'm happy I gave them a shot to make the bag.

The Base plastic has a very nice feel and more durable than one might expect. The fade comes very late and very soft, so it will hold the line for a long putt yet it is stable enough for a deep throw.  The rim is just ok for me and it flies more like a long 2 speed, or a short 3 speed. The flight numbers suggest it flies deeper than it does.  I have found that the maiden and cohort consistently and easily out-distance this disc by about 15-25 feet. I would choose the Ohm over this disc for putting and the Maiden over this disc for throwing, but if I wanted a single disc for both, this disc works well.

Great disc. I have used these for over a year now. They are great putters with lots of glide. They beat in nicely and fly true to the numbers.

I will not be reviewing this disc based on flight characteristics, as everyone will say it'll go where you aim it with a small, soft finish. I'm reviewing it based on feel. I bought a TON of different putters to feel what I liked best; This is definitely a contender.

I got an S model and an US model in base grip plastic, and I gotta say, this is enough! The plastic is ultra-smooth on the flight plate; I find myself rubbing it between my thumb and fingers more than I need to--it's THAT velvety. The top of the flight plate is very flat, with the shoulder very close to the rim, which, coupled with the shallow rim, feels great in the hand and allows a super clean release. Even the nose is fairly sizable and also very flat: a great resting place for the index finger.

The 5 glide rating doesn't mean that it'll airmail the basket from anywhere in circle 1, but it DOES help from the outer half of circle 2. Still, I haven't seen an appreciable difference in flight between this disc (3,5,0,2) and its US counterpart (3,5,-1,1) The only difference I've noted between the two is that the S model has a micro--and I mean micro--bead at the bottom, and I only really noticed it as I was sitting down to review them!

Got a BaseGrip P Model S as my first throwing putter and immediately fell in love with this disc. Out of the box it is lazer straight at full power with a nice fade at the end of the flight. As I've beaten it in more, it's developed a gentle turn that is amazing for straight and slightly right-moving shots. However, even after months and months of vigorous use, it will never overturn into the ground.

At lower speed aproach shots, this disc has amazing glide and won't fade hard, it's very much a point and shoot approach disc, especially after being beat in a bit.

Before i bought this i was putting and throwing discraft luna's but after purchasing this i switched to this for both putting and throwing. when putting it has a lot of glide i wouldn't say it has 5 glide but 4.5 is about right and when you putt the disc just stays in the air an extra half second that really helps on longer putts. when putting with it, it is very straight but with enough stability to handle wind and at the very end it starts to "fade" a little if you can call it fading when putting. for throwing there might not be a better throwing putter around. in duraflex glow it is pretty stable and the numbers would be 3,4,0,2 and i got my first ace in a tournament with it and it ws also my first ever tournament that i got that ace so this is a really special disc to me but also a really great one. In the basegrip plastic it is definitely straighter like the numbers i gave this review it will turn a little or even if it does not turn it is just not fading but gliding a lot it will push straight very far before fading a little bit and finishing like almost dead straight. Overall i really like this disc and the micro bead feels really good to me and that is coming from someone who previously would not even try a putter if it had a bead. ( if you want to see the video of the ace, yes we got it on video go to the facebook page of wendell more disc golf club and the other one is something about frankfort, KY disc golf.)

My search for the perfect putting putter has finally ended, all thanks to the P Model S. I had tried various putters since I started playing about 6 months ago, and none of them ever felt quite right. After some research I found the P Model S, and instantly fell in love. The low profile and flat top make this disc feel perfect in my hands. It's allowed me to putt with more confidence, which helps me sink putts more consistently.

I purchased a P Model S in the BaseGrip plastic for a hyzer flip/turnover throwing putter, and was not disappointed!  BaseGrip is definitely more durable than your normal base plastic, which allows you for slowly make it the perfect disc.  Also, the plastic is very grippy (much more than Pro, e.g.), which is just an added bonus.  The glide on this disc is also extraordinary; throw this thing on hyzer and it'll just flip up and carry forever.

    Awesome throwing putter!

This is my go to throwing putter. On holes 220'-260' dead straight this is the perfect disc! It has a shallower rim, flat top, and micro beaded rim, all great features to make a disc that goes on whatever line you put it on. That said, this disc flies STRAIGHT! When thrown with some power this disc will pick up and fly pretty much dead straight with a little turn right and virtually sit down with a tiny fade back to the line you released it on. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a throwing putter.

These are my putting putters and my backhand throwing putters for any line that doesn't require much fade at the end. The microbead is smooth and I don't think most people will dislike it even if they don't normally play with beaded putters. Flat, lower profile but not super slim. Fits my average sized hands very well.

    Base Grip

Great feeling plastic, somewhat similar to 300g but really consistent regardless of heat or humidity it seems. New out of the box flight numbers are definitely 3 5 0 1 but beat in quickly to something closer to 3 5 -1 1. Super versatile disc and cheap.

    Duraflex Glow

I dont know how to describe this plastic. It feels similar to star plastic, but more tacky. When it gets humid it tends to stick to the fingers. Nothing a birdie bag doesn't remedy though. Out the box flight numbers are pretty accurate, maybe more like a 1.5 fade. But this thing does NOT want to turn. I can consistently throw drivers 400ft and these are very high speed stable. New, the only real turn I get is when I throw with some wobble or into a good headwind hard. After a bit of beating in, they still don't want to turn much at all until I start cranking on them full power and then its slight (like a new base grip flight almost).

Forehand though...I can't do it. Not with these. Wobble city. Its probably user error, but I'll stick with my zones for forehand upshots for now.

I got this disc because I wanted to see what the "glide" that everyone was talking about. I first threw my Pa3, as I wanted to compare them. And then threw the Pmodel S and it went about 40 ft past my Pa3. The glide is real! Throw this on a slight hyzer and it will go straight for a long time.

I didn't really care for it when it comes to putting, just a personal preference. The disc feels very shallow, if you like that type of feel.

I usually throw and putt with PA-3 but wanted to give this a try. I throw my putters very often and this is a great compliment to the PA-3. While that holds the more OS, this slots in as US. I personally wouldn't call this stable at all, but it is very shape-able and glides for EVER. The real highlight behind its glide is the plastic. It is the most enjoyable tacky feel with a very firm plastic. Dry, humid, rain, you name it: you will have a great grip on this disc. I wish it was more stable. I sometimes lose it to the right when thrown too hard/not enough hyzer. That could be user error (def is sometimes) but somewhere in between the PA3 and this is what I would call heaven. I order a handful and will be giving them a try.

Of the ace line I have tried, I like them all but the P Model S is the best of the bunch. Works well as a putter or a thrower. Plastic holds up extremely well, has good grip, feels good in the hand. Holds a line with a little finish and putts well. What more can you ask for.

    Plastic: BaseGrip

    Weight: 173g

Feel: This plastic is very firm, yet very grippy, and doesn't have too deep of a rim.  Mine is board flat and helps to allow a variety of grips and comfortable forehand shots.  The disc has a 'micro-bead' on it, and I don't really notice it too much; so whether you like beads or not, this disc deserves a chance to impress you.

Flight: This putter can handle as much speed as I can give it, and while I definitely don't have the strongest arm, this disc just doesn't care.  The P Model will just fly straight and have a little fade at the end, no matter how hard you try while throwing flat.  I can get this putter out to around 300ft on a good throw in favourable conditions, and it hasn't turned over or gotten lifted and dumped out as of yet.  I think the glide is a little misleading, at least for me it seems to want to get down a little faster than a 5-glide putter should, as well it resists being lifted by a headwind fairly well. ?

Conclusion: This is my current go-to disc, and if I do a 1 Disc Round, you better believe it'll be the P Model S I'm using.  This approach disc is reliable and capable and has more than earned its place in my bag.

Sidenote: The P Model S, I've found, is also excellent for shorter, touch BH or FH throws that will have a predictable flight with a smooth trusted fade.

The P Model S is a nice standard, almost slightly understable putter. When putting inside the circle, it's a standard putter. When driving with it, it is a bit understable and maybe fights back a little at the end. Lots of times it would just flip over. This wouldn't be my go to driving putter, but more likely my super straight putting putter.

The Base Grip plastic is perfect for putting, it's got nice grip, and the price is awesome for getting a stack of em.

The flight numbers are dead on new. At holes around 260ft, I have been driving with this for a few days and on a flat release it flies dead straight with tons of glide and a solid fade. The plastic is a base plastic so it will beat in and develop some turn, but this is a very durable base-line plastic.

A premium feeling putter at a basic price point. Not sure how they did it, but wow, this putter has insane grip and durability for such a cheap price. It combines the stiffness that I love, with the incredible grip, feel and durability of premium priced discs, yet at much cheaper price point.

This putter has a medium to slightly deep profile. Similar depth to my P2, but the top is flatter, which makes it feel slightly less deep. It is very stiff yet very, very grippy. This Model P base line grip is absolutely night and day better than my base line P2. Even in cold wet weather the grip is excellent. Stiff yet gummy.

It has a very small bead, and not very noticeable at all. The flight as a putter is stable with a reliable fade, but doesn't dump at the end. It also has a ton of glide and good speed.

An overall excellent putter for use as both a stable thrower and a putter for distance putts where you want the glide.
